No kidding... I love a good cup of tea but ONLY with milk. Sometimes there are days when I get the kettle on and only realize after I have the pot brewing, that my girlfriend used the milk for her cereal and there's none left. So I either run to the store as fast as I can, which isn't too far off, or I just give up on the black and go green, which in itself is a disappointment. Either that or I pour out the whole freaking pot and start over when I get home, cause it's gone cold by the time I get back. And then my whole morning is off. Another one for you... why is it that the milk in England is the only acceptable milk for making the best tea in the world? I am here in France at the moment and our milk just doesn't cut it, and when I am back home in the US, the milk ruins the cup too! Only in England... do they make the milk strictly as a compliment to tea?

Yeah I hate it when that happens, and why does milk I get from Morrisons last longer than the stuff I get over the road? I can buy two pints from Morrisons and it will last right to the bottom of the bottle and a pint from the local shop goes off in a couple of days...it's yuck!

I just gave up on the whole milk thing and that solved the problem. Tea is really nice without milk and sugar it just takes a little getting used to.

oh yes....last week, I threw away two bottles of milk, I dont know if its because the bottles are now plastic and with the warm weather it is sending them off....its horrid. Last week, I arrived at work on the Monday, knowing that I brought a new bottle on the Friday and it should have been ok for the Monday morning, then when I arrived, curdled and off, horrible, I went and got another bottle and by Wednesday, that was off too....

Phone a taxi and ask them to bring you some milk. They WILL do it, but you will have to pay for the taxi fare and the milk......well worth it I think, expecially if you can take it out of petty cash!

Just go and get some - you can't go the whole day without a brew. If anyone asks, say you were in the loo!
