i am 5'3'' & 145 pounds. i need to loose at least 40 pounds. i have to study for at least 12 hours daily which makes me very hungry. what low cal food should i be eating so that i can eat lots of it but still the calorie intake is less ? Help !

My great grandmother is 86 and was just told by her doctor she needs to lower her potassium intake. The problem is when she looks at the Nutrition facts on boxes or can goods, everything has potassium. She loves oranges,apples & bananas but they have too much potassium. She has to drink this dry powder every night to flush out her system. I'd like to help her out by finding some different foods that have little to no pottassium. I hope you can help. Thank You !!

I came across this beer at one of the Indian restaurants in NY. This is perhaps one of the lesser known beers but mind blowing. Absolute feast of taste... u gotta try it to believe it.. and let me know how you feel about it. i am a connoiseur of fine beers and especially pairing beer and food.

how come i always have to explian why i`m a vegetrain, why can`t i just eat in peace, i am afraid to eat out because the questions are always one after another.

why can`t i just be happy being a vegetrain.

for instance:
i'm at the grocery store and my package of steaks leaks on my hand....do i now, have E. coli on my hands or is it just some beef that carry it?
is it the same with salmonella and trichanosis???

i mean, if all eggs contain salmonella, then why don't i get sick when i eat a spoon of raw cookie dough???

I would like to open a sushi bar. I'm not expecting it to be easy, and I obviously need to build up experience and take a business course. I would hire a chef(s) and buy a small unit in an up-and-coming area. I have about 20k to start me off. There are no sushi bars where I live, but I think there is the market for it, if it is publicised accordingly.
And advice from people who have experience in the area of opening business, cooking or japan please help.
