I was unaware that anyone disliked cinnamon. If that were true, there wouldn't be so many of those awesome Cinnabon stores all over the place (I love them!!!). Cinnamon and Chocolate make for an awesome ice cream (Haagan Das if I remember correctly). I love cinnamon ice cream anyway. Cinnamon is essential on apple pie and blueberry muffins. Cinnamon raisin is one of the most chosen bagel, bread and oatmeal flavors. Snickerdoodle cookies would not be snickedoodles without cinnamon. cinnamon is the sweet smell of autumn and Christmas! I love the smell! Considering what a huge market there is for cinnamon, I seriously doubt that You and I are the only ones who like it.

I enjoy cinnamon in moderation, like with sugar on French toast or other breakfast things. I do not like harsh Cinnamon, like hot Cinnamon gum or candies.
My understanding is that it is a cultural phenomona. The US military did studies about smells that are offensive to other cultures for non-lethal weaponry. Cinnamon was one of the scents that was found offensive, particularly in Asian Cultures.

Cinnamon is great! Love the little cinnamon heart candies and nothing is better on french toast that cinnamon, but you have to put it on the toast while it cooks, not mix it into the batter.

When I was little, it was too strong for me and my daughter said the same thing until last year when I finally hooked her. It is a pretty overpowering scent and taste. Since the age of 20 I have been totally hooked...only use cinnamon gum and mints and the spice...ahhh! Have you boiled cinnamon sticks at home? Gives the house the most delightful aroma.

Well I don't think that you are the only one who likes cinnamon, I like it myself. Plus you can find plenty of cinnamon flavor gum out there. Also there are alot of pies made with cinnamon, and french toast.

How can you say no-one likes cinnamon. The shops sell plenty of it so someone must be eating it!.. For myself - I love cinnamon. I cook ground rice for my breakfast and put cinnamon in it - delicious! (cardamom is nice too, done in the same way with maybe a little rosewater added.)
