mac and cheese is American soul food. When you eat it, it makes you feel so good. Elbow macaroni (a small, tube shaped pasta that is naturally curved), any number of readily available cheeses blended with milk or cream, salt and pepper, cooked over low heat to melt oll of the cheesy goodness together, married to the pasta just after it comes out of the water, poured into a baking pan and baked in the oven until the tot is golden brow and the sauce is gooey, not runny. Try it with a nice salad and a bottle of wine and you'll love it!

Macaroni and Cheese. It's made with a cheese sauce, add cooked macaroni the bake till bubbly.

I add ketchup to it when it's done,( Heinz of course). It gives the flavor a boost. My father got me to try it that way once, and I have been doing it ever since. Sure brings back memories

It's macaroni and cheese. My son loves the Kraft dinner version but I prefer homemade. If you need a recipe, go to allrecipes.com. They have loads of recipes and hints.
