My husband comes home from Iraq in november, and instead of cooking the usuaul meals like before he left, I would like something very tasteful, a large entree and maybe 2 small sides. Something light because his stomach needs to get used to regular food.

Something fancy but not to fancy to where it calls for candles and wine lol. Something we both can enjoy while chatting about our past year.

All recipe's are welcome.....details details details......maybe something I can put in a crock pot to cook so I can get other things situated before I go get him.

I love macaroni salad. It's my favorite food on the earth. My mother put peas in her macaroni salad and I do too. I have to admit that I make the best macaroni salad in the world. Over the years people have made many comments about peas in the salad and I am wondering this: Are peas in the salad an ethnic thing or a geographical thing or just because my mother did it? Some people like it and other people don't. I'm just curious where peas in macaroni salad originated.

There are claims that some nutrients are destroyed bythe microwaves which cause germany and russia to ban sale of microwave ovens... should we be concerned... does anyone know if there is a real issue

I have a friend at church who lost her hearing and no test found anything.

Her chyropracter asked if she drank alot of diet soda and she said she was a diet soda junky and he told he to stop for a week and see what happens and her hearing started to come back

The Chyropracter says that he has several other patients with MS type symptoms possibly also due to diet soda

has anyone else had these problems
