Mike's hard anything, smirnoff twisted 5, those have very little alcohol, you'd have to drink a lot to get drunk. A step up from there I suggest amareddo sours, if they're made right htey taste like candy. Rum and coke is also good but more powerful. Trust me....at least to me, beer is not good at all. I hear it's an aquired taste.

Depends on the direction you want to take. Beer of various kinds is good for beginners, because it's bitter and thereby discourages you from drinking too much too early. By the time you're used to the taste of beer, you'll be better able to hold the alcohol and you won't be a beginner anymore. Wine could also work, but it tastes a little too good to really act as a check on your drinking.
Another form of control is on your wallet, but it's a little more dangerous, since if you're getting tipsy you won't mind paying for cocktails. Still, if you want tasty drinks, try iced cocktails like a Margarita, Daiquiri, etc. or schnapps, or some other cocktail. Again, this is okay for beginners because it's expensive and should discourage drinking too fast too early in your drinking "career", but because it tastes good you might find yourself drinking too much.
I'd recommend avoiding hard drinks like rum, whisky, etc. until you're already more experienced. It's too easy to get alcohol poisoning unless you know your limits because shots are easy to down quickly.
Remember, your body can metabolize about one drink of alcohol per hour or so, so for a nice buzz you don't need to drink much more than that.

Almaretto is a nice drink for a beginner its smooth ans sweet and very hard to detect. either on the rocks or with some apple juice you will like that and then try something a little stronger. Fruity drinks are good too like daquiris and other frozen drinks.

Well, there's all different kinds of options you have...
I started drinking Wine Coolers or Mike's Hard Lemonade because it's sweet and you can't taste the alcohol. Although they're yummy, you kind of get sick of the sweet taste and it takes quite a bit to get you drunk.
Beer is always good, I like Corona with lime in it because it cuts the sharp beer taste.
If you're looking to get drunk and not taste the alcohol, I would recommend this:
Long Island Ice Tea
1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Gin
1/2 ounce White Rum
1/2 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce Lemon Juice
Top with Cola
Build all ingredients in an ice tea glass, then top with cola and garnish with a lemon wedge.

I would guess light beer, but I've never drank and don't really plan to at least not regularly. Remember to not over do it and drink while driving or drive right after drinking.

Wine coolers and premixed drinks are easier. Do you like the taste of beer? That's easier than the hard stuff,
