Not the best way to cook food from scratch. From day one in the U.S. there has been controversy about the micro wave oven. Ever wonder why the window is dark? Hmmmmmm! You are not to stand directly in front of one when it is cooking.
Food continues to cook when it is finished. Those molecules are still bombarding each other, and can give a nasty burn- very dangerous for children. If you cook meat you need to use a thermometer because the inside can still be raw when the edges and outside are thouroughly cooked. The texture of food is not pleasant if you do not use specific containers and or covers designed for this type of cooking. Not to mention the taste is different then if prepared conventionally. Okay, I have one and use it only for heating up foods not for cooking. So when you make the decison to use one consider everything that exist. and use with caution.

Well, that is new to me. Must say, if microwaves are banned in Germany, I sure didn't notice! Bunch of BS. They aren't banned here at all! Sure there was (10 years ago) talk about the food being affected by the waves etc. but they sure haven't been banned and I haven't seen anyone become ill from one yet either.

Microwave actually KILL any nutrents that are zapped in 10 seconds. No vitimans, nothing that is good for your body. Plus they harm anything within 10 feet of them.

Quick to use, fast on warming left overs but whipes out any nourshments in any food that is warmed up or cooked in them.

Try to stay away from them if possible. Using the oven is a great way to warm up mostly anything, and so much better for you

You are mistaken about the bans. Our company is experiencing record profits selling said items to both Germany and Russia. We expect to ship nearly a quarter million units by the end of the year.

As for "some nutrients being destroyed", you have to be aware that ALL cooking methods destroy a percentage of nutrients in foods. When you fry, bake, boil, broil, simmer, steam and grill your foods, you cannot avoid destroying some nutrients.

Microwaving is, in fact, one of the better means of cooking in that it tends to cook food quickly and thoroughly while destroying a MINIMUM of the nutrient content of that food. So don't worry, my friend: your microwave deserves a place of respect in your kitchen, along with your conventional oven and rangetop. Bon apetit!

yes; they are totally accurate. The food molecules cooked in microwaves is altered & pro-cancerous. Microwaving is a very unhealthy way to heat food.
Use the stove, or better yet...eat raw. The more raw, uncooked nutrients in the food; the better it is for you.
Think about this...put a slab of meat in the ground. What happens? It putrifies.
Put a seed or nut in the ground. What happens? It sprouts.
It's the same with food. Cook it & you kill it. You then put dead food into your body & expect life to be the result? You have to eat life to get life.

Well believe it or not. Microwave is one of the safest way to cook your food. Well cooking a steak for example on the grill, i.e. burning it causes release of chemicals that can cause cancer. Burning any meat for that matter. If you cook your meat in te microwave your chances are less likely to release these chemicals.

(So does that man, you don't have a cellphone either...)

Since there is a huge interest in using microwave energy in mass to irradiate our food to make it safer I doubt your "understanding" has any merit.

You have ovens wherein Morroccans somehow create waves that heat up the food?

Wow.... I am speechless, and that doesn't happen very often.
