Why? What? Wouldn't that taste terrible? I don't know about toxic fumes, but of all the things to start a grill up with, how did you come up with using that? lol Use a charcoal chimney, and if you don't have one of those then lighter fluid, or get self-starting briquettes.

NO WAY....citronella oil is an oil that keeps bugs away from you, it is toxic.
