Food & Drink - 19 June 2006

I really like beer for the different flavors, and would still drink it if it was non-alcoholic( not the cheap stuff like bud or miller, but the real beers like Belhaven ,Maredsous, Chimay, etc.). I would like to see which ones of you really appreciate the craft of brewing and which ones drink beer for the drunk.(im not judging anyone for their answers, just curious)

Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy a pint or 2 but then I would rather have coke or something - I dont see the need to have to get drunk... What do you all think?

I'n not yet sure if the event will be in the afternoon or evening but I'm looking for ideas for what to have in the buffet. The event will be in the summer so I don't want alot of hot food ideas.

When I make jalphenio poppers on the grill, sometimes they are very mild and others they are very hot. I always make sure I get the membranes and the seeds out. Could it be that the pepper is to ripe and that makes it hot?

So, My mate and I are having a debate about which one of the two oils are the best for us generally ( I pick Olive Oil ). He says the other is better for us because it has better types of fat in the oil.
So can you help me prove him wrong as he as he says it " Is never wrong".
