Even at a party with free drink I still prefer soft drink. Fun to stay sober and watch others get drunk and make a fool of themselves

i'm only 20 and i find it more fun to watch others get drunk. i don't like feeling to out of countrol or sick, and as alcholo does both,i don't enjoy it! its great that you can enjoy a night out without having to get drunk! keep it up!

Speak for yourself, I enjoy it more, (I'm sure I am older than you) and I cant see any fun in watching others getting drunk, it's about the worse thing that can happen walking into a pub sober and every one else is fully 'in the swing' of things, I am a believer in sober people not being allowed to hang around in pubs. If they are not drunk within an hour they should be frog marched out!!
Hope this helps??

This is a well documented pattern...even a large percentage of people with "drinking problems" just sort of lose interest in boozing it up in their 30's and 40's. It's probably due to physiological changes mainly....the alcoholic effect just eventually loses a great deal of its "magic".

good question....i like smoking grass and drinking alcohol, but as i approach 30, i like smoking more....i guess i'm not 21 anymore and don't really need that horrible hangover the next day.....

Your taste buds are old and dusty! Only sugar can penetrate through all that rust.

Because as you mature, you learn that the pleasure isn't always worth the pain.

I don't even want to be around it at all anymore. You grow out of it as you mature, I suppose.
