I really like beer for the different flavors, and would still drink it if it was non-alcoholic( not the cheap stuff like bud or miller, but the real beers like Belhaven ,Maredsous, Chimay, etc.). I would like to see which ones of you really appreciate the craft of brewing and which ones drink beer for the drunk.(im not judging anyone for their answers, just curious)

Drinking non-alcoholic beer is the same as drinking decaf coffee, pointless.

Actually I would love to be able to make or buy a low or no alcohol GOOD beer...Sometimes i drink beer because I have had all the soda or tea I can handle and want something that tastes good...We home brew and make IPA and stouts as well as many other kinds... So yes if there was a way to take out the alcohol but not the taste I would! Cat

As a fairly serious beer drinker who likes to sample the wide variety of flavors taht are available in the most adaptable of beverages I would totally drink beer without the alcohol. That being said there are days when the alcohol is the only thing I am after. Those would be the days you see me drinking cheap junk beers.

Yeah, cause frankly I really enjoy the taste of a good beer! Sometimes I don't like to get buzzed because I have to work or I get too tired. It would be nice to enjoy a beer every day for lunch and not get in trouble at work! There are SO MANY to choose from! Alcohol gets in the way sometimes of enjoying a good beer.

I usually drink beer for the alcohol content, and not for taste. But I do know that O'Douls sells primarily non-alcoholic beer and they are a very successful business. So there has to be a lot of people out there that drink non-alcoholic beer.

They have beer like that already (O'Douls) . Why would I want to do that. When I drink beer, I don't get drunk. If I wanted to get drunk I would just drink straight out of a vodka bottle or something. I genuinely love the taste of beer and what it symbolizes (being a man, relaxing and unwinding). My favorite is Beck's and Harp. I think they have the perfect taste.

If it tasted just as good and wasn't changed chemically and potentially harmful (like the fat substitute that causes health problems like anal leakage - ew!), I'd love to have a good beer without alcohol.
I don't drink to get drunk. I drink because it tastes good.
When I travel, I'm always looking for a brew pub because they have unique beers and original, tasty food.

I don't drink beer to get drunk, it's more of a social thing. Yes I would drink non-alcohol beer, if it had good taste.

Of course I would drink it, and as long as the taste is as good as the alcoholic beers, I would even prefer it !
