I bought some garlic from my local supermarket on the saturday, on the monday I used it in a recipe and the garlic didn't smell right when it was cooking and the dish tasted foul (a dish I cook often and is normally lovely).

Following this I had a bad tummy that night and a horrible garlicky aftertaste like it had gone off....

So my question is how can you tell beforehand? the garlic looked ok and it was annoying to waste what would have otherwise been a lovely dinner!

what is the brand/name of generic products in your town? i always thought generic names were funny :)

here in minnesota we have flavorite, homebest, new choice super chill soda, roundys.. and uhh thats all i can think of right now

Is drinking every night bad? Most nights I drink 3 beers and 6 to 8 shots. Is that considered too much?
I don't drink until late. Like tonight I didn't start drinking until after midnight. I'll drink nightly for about 4 or 5 hours and then fall asleep.
No jokes please...Just want your opinion.
