Singles & Dating - 14 June 2007

I have been married three years and recently my wife has become physically abusive. She never used to be when we were dating but after we married she started becoming verbally abusive. However, lately she has begun beating me as well (and not in a kinky way). I had to take a week off work last month after her last outburst. This was not the first time either. I just wanted to know where she had stayed that night because she didn't come home.

If I divorce her I know I will lose half my house and business which I have worked very hard for.

She will take my daughter away too.

I am too shy to tell anyone, friends, family or police that my wife beats me. I have been telling people that I am doing some karate training.

My staff are starting to get annoyed because i am taking so much time off work.

I guess I am really just venting here sorry.

I have a college degree and am very proud of it because I raised 2 kids while I studied and drove to classes every day, but as terrible as it to say it, and I may be bragging, but
I think men see me as a cash cow, I try not to tell males what I do for a living when I meet them.
Do men prefer educated of do they prefer the looks and the body, or do they just want someone who makes a lot of money? What turns a man on?

Mike and I have been dating for almost a year now and we've know each other for more than two. He liked me from the moment he met me, always talking about me and asking when I'd be by, Of course I didn't know this until after I had already started liking his best friend, travis, and dating him but he turned out not to be quite right. The whole time I was gone on vacation for a month Mike called me every day and we'd talk for hours. After we started dating we'd spend all the time together, he never wanted to hang out with any of his friends even though I repeatedly told him to when they called and he'd just ignore the phone. However, lately he's been a little more distant, not calling when he says he will (or me being too impatient to wait) I get irritated when he says "I'll call you when I get out of work" and then see him cruising around town waiting to go hang out with other people or when we're out and he's going to leave for a minute it makes me sooo angry that he doesnt kiss me.

I'm 20 and have only slept with one guy my entire life. We've been dating for almost 4 years and until recently I wasn't okay with casual sex. Then I moved away and we're doing long distance.
But I just met this guy and it's a sort of "friends with benefits" thing going. I really like him and I think he likes me but can't confirm, he hasn't said anything.

to my house after practise and i think she might like me..she asked if she could come over to my place and i said sure but theres nothing to do there. We get there and just watch TV. im 15 and i was goin out with this guy for 3months & everyone thought we were great together & we were. we was engaged & everything was great one day me and ppl from modeling went to the beach &one of the guys brought a friend & he was friends with another friend and after we left he called my friend and told her that he liked me &then she told me & i liked him to so the next day we hungout & then we started kissin& then he was walkin me & my friend home then he asked me out not knowin i had a bf then my friend convinced me to go with him so the next day at school i was with my bf of a long time & then my new bf saw us. but when i saw him i left & started walkin home but then he ran & caught up to me & told me to chose who i wanted to be with so i chose th new guy but i think that it was a mistake and i still love the other guy & he still loves me but if i break up with the guy im with now hes gonna know & go after the other guy im NOT a whore or ne of that so dont start sh!t

I'm falling for a wonderful man who has addictions. Now as it stands we are just friends getting to know eachother, i would imagine in a few months it will be more. he has a bad past with drinking and a little drug use. his last slip up was may 5th. im just asking out there if anyone has had any experience with a recovering addict. im kinda scared to get too close. but , i sure do enjoy spending time with him. i don't do drugs or drink so i think i am a good friend for him. i feel he is truely trying to get his life back together he has a good job and nice home, he is a loving father.
