It means you're nice.
Don't read into it. You will never know the context of the conversation, let alone his meaning behind it -- unless you ask him, of course.
So don't drive yourself crazy analzying the hundreds of possibile interpretations.

It means he thinks your nice. Please forgive the generalization but women tend to over analyze what men say and do. The reality is we are really not that subtle or complicated. Women, in my opinion, have far more intricate and nuanced social interactions. Men simply don't ordinarily have your social sophistication. If he says: "your nice" then your nice; that's really all there is to it.

It means you're nice to his friends and apparently he thinks it is suprising that you are or something. Or he might be jealous. Otherwise he wouldn't say anything.
