What are somethings you've heard from girls and you can tell that they're saying one thing but mean a completely different thing and you don't want to say anything wrong for fear you'll end up in the doghouse?

Some things we say and really mean are:
-We say: "I'm fine. No really, I'm fine."
-We mean: "I'm not fine. In fact, things couldn't be any less fine, so you'd better do something to make it better, and fast."

-We say: "Do you think she's pretty?"
-We mean: "I think she's pretty and I think you think she's pretty. Don't lie to me."

-We say: "Let's cuddle."
-We mean: "Let's cuddle, get your hand out of my pants.

-We say: "You're right."
-We mean: "You're right this time...but don't have too much fun being right because you're without a doubt going to be wrong the next time."

He is in my grade, I am a senior in high school, about to graduate in a week and a half, and the time is ticking for me.. the wierd thing is that i've never really noticed him until now. he has been in some of my classes through out the years and ive never really spoken to him, i feel as though we are totally different and may have nothing in common at all, i talked to him a couple times this year, but they are were really meager conversations. haha. but i got a glimpse of his personality. he seems like a cool guy,Hes the loud one in class.(Im the opposite) even though he hangs with the 'preps'/popular kids and i with the 'misfits'/"losers" i have always been really quiet and reserved, its hard for me to be out there and let people know the real me? any suggestions on how i can build myself up im afraid to take the risk and be rejected. i feel like i dont want to disgrace him with my presence. i just wanna know more about him. any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I am an attractive 27 yr old about to go on holiday in 3 wks to Europe so I should be feeling happy but I don't, I just don't feel good anymore and don't have the energy to leave my room and face the world. **** the world!!!! I have just broken up with my ex and feel so alone....
Why do I feel like this? I don't want people to see me like this... I'm supposed to be catching up with friends but I just have no enthusiasm...

There is a bloke who I know as a general friend (not close one) and sometimes when he sees me he winks at me and then smiles. In the past when we have been out as part of a group with my other half he has looked at me and winked at me and on two separate occasions put his arm round my shoulder after winding me up and then whilst sitting next to me at a table he put his arm round my waist whilst I was stroking his pet dog that he had bought to the pub once. We have also had innuendo banter between the two of us but its the winking that gets me though - is this flirting, does he fancy me or is it just him being friendly to a female acquaintance. I always thought winking meant they fancied you. Lately though he hasn't been as chatty when he has seen me but has started winking at me again.

i am 17 years old. i work 2 jobs 2 support my son who is 7 months. my boyfriend has been rly immature l8ly and sleeps when he is supposed to be taking care of his son soo i broke up with him, and he stayed the nite a week l8r and i found senior pictures of a girl he works with in his wallet. he said that she just gave them to him he doesnt even talk to her.

here's the story. i kinda like him and he kinda like me too but if he won't ask me out soon, i may leave the town in 2weeks for forever and probably won't see him ever again.
He has kinda clearly show me that he likes me but since i've always acting cold. now how can i show him indirectly that i like him too, so he can move on...

A friend of mine killed herself a few months ago, The days/weeks before she did it, she was acting very happy,/. She was gorgeous too & boys loved her, no one ever in a million years thought she would do that. A few days after the funeral a friend of ours confessed that he knew she was thinking about it & they had conversations where she would pour her heart out & tell him how miserable she was & how she lost the drive to just be alive anymore, he obviously told her what a horrible idea that is & got mad she would even think about doing that, but as soon as the conversation ended with him she would pretend like it never happened & would go back to being the funny awesome girl she was, so he never was too concerened, because he felt like if she was that close to doing it she you'd be able to tell... Is it common for people to act good & happy before they kill themselves?

Women, what are signs you give off when you are emotionally detaching yourself from a guy before you break-up with him?
Is the “detaching” something you mean to do? Or is it something you have no control over? Why do you go through the process of detaching, why not leave as soon as you feel something is wrong?

Long story short- friends, I liked him, told him, it couldn't work out, we stayed friends. But NOW, he's always doing these little things like say we're gonna get married and make me feel special and stuff, but then he goes on about a girl he likes. I'm almost certain he does it to make me jealous, because of the way he says it and I try and counterattack it by saying stuff about hot guys I like. He'll then say he dreams about me and says he likes this love song and he tells me to listen to it. I get the feeling he likes me, but then I don't again?
As you can see, I'm confused. Do guys play mind games purposely or is it sometimes accidental? Or are they sometimes confused about how they feel? Also, if anyone wants to answer this- what should I do about this guy? <3
