My friend, Lisa, is in the process of losing weight and I have to say, she looks great. But she is really worried that guys won't be as into her if they found out that she used to be overweight. What should I tell her?

She used to be 250lbs now she's 150lbs and her goal is 135-140lbs.

I've been through this, and I understand were she's coming from. Most guys will not care so long as your beautiful now....

It will only matter to him if he's a shallow and vain individual, and in that case she shouldn't want him anyway....

Let her know that an "Authentic Man" will love her for who she has become, And she should never want to be with a man that she has to hide her past from... An Authentic Man will Like/Love her regardless, reminder her that she's more than her weight.

Why should the fact that she used to be overweight matter? I'm sure she's just as pretty now as she was before she started losing weight. You, as her friend, just need to reassure her that she looks good n o matter what. If you help her by boosting her confidence, then she'll feel better about herself! Good luck!

some guys will like the fact that she has made the effort to lose weight, but they could also be scare that they gett it back. also, some guys do not care about a girls past, so if she is skinny now, then that is all that matters.

I think she is already worried about the wrong thing. She did it for her and nobody else. She accomplished alot for herself. I'll tell her*#@! them, and enjoy herself. Just that look of confidence will attract the right people. You go girl!!!

She should not hide it. What an accomplishment. Congrats to her. Beside, would she really want a guy that is that shallow?
