I've bin with my girlfriend for 7 months and everything is going well but i need to go to mexico for a month and a half .....and we wont be able to talk or email or anything what should i do?

im going to a discreat part of mexico to help build houses for the poor and there will not be any signal for cell phones or web access....

yes they do....but we get to talk. ive been seperated form mine for aboutalmost a year, and weve been together for a year and 1/2. yes they do work. ...maybe try webcam
i got to europe for 2 months and barly able to talk to him...no more than 5 min, at least once a week if im lucky. just have faith and it'll go by pretty fast. again, LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP WORK! as long as both of you want to make it work!

It can work if you are both committed. Is there absolutely no way to communicate. Are you going to an area that is not modernized? If you will be anywhere near a larger town or city they may have cyber cafes as many countries have these since computers are so expensive that few can own them. You can also write letters. It takes about 7 to 10 days for a letter to get from mexico to the US and vice versa so you would have time to write a couple of letters to each other.

Oh, I see... There's always regular mail. And you could always go to a nearby city that HAS cell phone service.. couldn't you?
I'm in a long distance relationship, and it's been working for the past 7 months... but in your case, there will be no visiting, no contact whatsoever. Talk with her about this. If she is willing to work through it, there's no reason why it wouldn't work out.

write her letters every day. you need to show her you trust her and that she can trust you. long distance realationships don't work if you can't trust each other so try to trust each other. get a phone card so you can call and check to make sure she is okay. or see if you both can get up the money to take her with you if she wants to go.

it's only a month and a half for cryin out loud. that's not a huge gap in the grand scheme of things. you make the call. sounds like maybe you want some guilt-free booty on your trip or something

It could work if your love is strong. Before you leave make sure she knows how you feel about her. have long serious talks. The time will go by fast! I really hope it works out for you.

They don't work out very well for long periods. It's even harder for younger people.
