I just recently gave birth 3 months ago. I am a single mother. I keep on running into this man. We crossed paths about 6 times in a row we were at the exact place at the exact same time. It was kind of weird and more than coincidence. We never spoke, but his energy always made me feel good, about my self which I needed. I began to look forward to seeing him to see if I would run into him--it became my entertainment sad enough. I feel bad that I have never spoken to him to see what our connection is about, and now I cannot stop thinking about him and defintely will speak to him or give him my # or something, but now I never see him, and last time I did he looked pissed. Did i mess up and miss my opportunity? I would like to be friends, and get to know him, but I fear I messed up--

ive never had a real relationship and i think i'll be a while before i have one. for one i have high standards and i dont intend to lower them. also it seems to be a turn off that i hang out with guys. finally sometimes i will get pissed off to the point where i smack a guy for being an idiot.

my bra strap shows because it falls down since i have lost weight, i didn't have time to adjust the strap becuase i honestly didn't care if they showed, all i have to do is pull it up and try to be careful next time, i didn't do it on purporse, no one else cared, i mean they would tell me about it , but it really wasn't a big deal to them, except to this one guy , he insisted on me fixing my bra strap, this is the same guy that ranted on about me biting of his"thing" since i have what people refer to DSL

Situation:
Girl goes on date with this gorgeous guy she just met. They are having dinner in a nice, perfect, romantic restaurant. Things are going fine, until he starts getting into "spiritual" things, and how we're all supposed to find a soul mate, and he's getting positive vibes, and karma, and who knows what else, and is completely serious about it. I'm 27 and I have been with my boyfriend for two years. He is the best thing that has ever happen to be. He is wonderful, sweet and caring. But I'm confused right now and not sure what I want. He has been telling me how hard work has been at work lately. He is a nurse. As a human rights worker I have always been empathetic to suffering of any kind, my friends, internationally etc... but because my emotions have changed towards him, so has my capacity to show empathy towards his life. Its not like me. Even if my love for him has changed, by respect for him has not, so why then, do I feel restless and un interested when he talks about his stress? why can't I feel empathy towards his situation at work?. I just don't seem to care. I feel awful! just looking for insight.

Some people say dancing scares off the guys because a lot of guys cant dance? But just because they cant dance with you doesn't mean they can't watch right? Even if it does i won't stop dancing but i'm just wondering from someone elses point of view.

Ok. This guy's answer to my prom invite was "It's not a no, but it's a no only because I have date" Then he avoided me 3 weeks before prom started. At prom, he always seem to "be" by me. Like plenty of empty tables around me and my friend's table, yet he decided to stay 3 ft. away by the wall. Him and his date left prom when my and my friend did. He showed up at iHop alone. Then about 2 weeks after prom, he was STILL avoiding me. I didn't get this because first semester (before this trivial prom problem) I KNOW he liked me. So I stopped him one day and askd if he took my invite the wrong way and if that was his reason for avoiding me. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about at first, but after I called his bluff he said that he thought I was mad at him and that he felt bad for turning me down. Do you think he really felt bad? My guy friends say I should believe him because guys who aren't interested will just blow a girl off with things like this.

I mean specifically if women find intellegence sexy in men.

I don't mean "books smarts straight A's in school" intellegence, I mean practical every day intellectualism.
Stuff like having a vast volcabulary that allows you to articulate your thoughts and convey your ideas profesionally, or being so good at mental math you can calculate any tax included price in your head in seconds and can show up your math teacher when he's asking for a "calculator" on a daily basis.

If you can't tell already, this question is about me.

I've always been able to impress people of both sexes with stuff like that, just never women in an infactuation sense.
It also really bugs me when I say something, have some ditz say "what does 'profound' or 'hinder' or 'delve' mean" and those same girls are amazed at other sfuff.

No, I'm not some bookworm high school nerd, I just need perspective because its been a long time since I've dated/ hade a girlfriend

I really messed up, bad.. what should I do??
ok..long story short, the girl that I'm talkin to hadnt replied to ne of my emails.even though the day before, she said everything was cool , and i was really sweet, and still on my first chance...but i saw that she had read the messages, but hadnt replied...well i was already having a horrible day, so i emalied her and basically told her to quit stringing me along...but....then i remembered how busy she is, and that she might have something big going on this weekend, but idk for sure, ...so neways..i cooled off, and sent this apology, is my grave already to deep?? i mean, am i screwed, or is this apology good?

I know this isn't right, but its not what you think it is. I would sincerely like to appologize, and honestly mean it. One, I sent you that very immature message about you not replying, and it was tottally irrational, and immature. I was having a very bad day, and my brother did something to set me off, and I basically just typed all the thoughts in my head into that dang message. None of it was true at all, not a word, they were just ideas floating in my head, and my brother turned a bad day into a worse one, and thats how that message happend. None of it is true. I know you are very busy,and I know i have not given you enough space, especially in the past day, so I am honestly appologizing. I honestly dont know what happend, cuz I know better than to act like I did. so, I do think now I need to ask for a 2nd chance. and if you dont reply to this, I tottally understand, I probably wouldnt either. but yea, on a lighter note, I still hope you think I'm sweet. You are too :).

Im 15 years old, and ill be 16 in two weeks. My boyfriend turned 18 this month on the 26th. We have been together for two and a half years. Last week we were at my house, well i live with my 25 year old sister and her boyfriend. And my boyfriend and i were alone in my room(no one was home) and we didn't have protection so we masturbated with each other, and as we were doing it i guess my mom came for a visit and she had a key to my room supposedly and she opened the door really fast and saw everything. After that she closed the door really fast. and ran to the car and went home. She didn't call at all for 3 days, so i called her yesterday and she screamed and cried and stuff on the phone and hanged up in my ear. How do you know when a guy is really busy or is just making an excuse not to go out with you? If you ask him to go somewhere with you and he says he has rehearsal or has to write a paper or something like that.
