After realizing this nice guy vs jerk contoversy... I always wonder if it was an age issue.. Like girls usually tend to want to have fun at the begginning so they go for the "bad" guy for the challenge and fun. Then they get tired of it and settle for the "nice" guy...

I dont want to come sounding like I am trying to generalize.. Ofcourse there might be some exceptions... but I want to see if this idea is true or not by all the answers as a whole...

For the ladies.. now I would like to know your age and if your currently with a "nice" guy or "bad" boy.. and your thoughts about this issue.

For the gents.. do you consider yourself a "nice" guy or not? And whats your status and age.

Okay so there is this guy I really like only he's like in love with my best friend? He told me he used to like me but he doesn't anymore and I don't want to bother him about why he likes her and not me anymore. What might be the reason and any advice that would help me? I've been dating him for 11 months, and he has a daughter with another girl. The other girl doesnt know about me. She calls him all the time and I've caught him numberous of times tellingher that he loves her. I love him very much. He keeps telling me that nothing is going on with them. It's hard to trust him after he's told her that he loves her. She comes over to his house every week and spends the night. He claims it's so he can see his baby. If there is nothing going on with them, why cant he tell her about me? What should I do? I've tried to leave him but he begs me to stay.

Ok last night i was hanging with my friend/ex but we are like really good friends.

I'm the kind of person that has a really pretty face, but a big nose(I swear it was due to chernobyl). It also makes me look more mature from the sides and is not very asymetric at the bottom becuase I got it cut open as a child(3 year olds and small objects don't mix). So I've always wanted a nose job to help me feel more pretty but have been afraid to do it becuase I thought guys wouldn't want to be with me because they would think I was fake or high maintanice. Would a guy not want to be with me because part of my outer beauty is...surgacially achieved? I feel that you only life once so if you want to do something you should just do it....but I don't forever want to be labeled as fake becuase of this....

Back in February I started talking to a guy that I met through my friend, who had a huge crush on him and still does. As he got to know me he was impressed by my personality and began to tell my friend that he thought I was amazing. She told me he liked me and she got really jealous, but I assured her I had no intention of getting with him (I really didn't like him that much; from first impressions). But as I got to know him better (in more recent times) I'm finding that I actually have fallen for him and he likes me as much or more than I like him. He tells me he's sprung off of me. And I can really see a relationship with him working because of our similar interests and personalities... but is this right? My friend still likes him and I promised her I wouldn't ever like him that way without knowing if I really would... so now how do I break it to her? Or should I even? We'd have to hide our relationship from our friends if we got together and I see one coming... help >_<

I just got this email from my ex. I still love him, but I don't like his attitude. What do you think?
I don't want to have to feel like I have to call you because I feel forced. Our conversations don't feel the same way to me as before. I feel strained. Yesterday this guy told me that he liked me. I should have been able to like him back. But when he told me how he felt, i suddenly realised that i liked this other guy because all i could think about was him. I have no idea how he feels about me, but i need to know now. When I first met het, I used to tease her and the like, I made a complete *** of myself. As I spent more time arround her though, I started to realy like her. it took me nearly two years to bring her arround, and we're going out now, we realy like each other, but her parents heard nothing good about me for the longest, and they seem to be stuck in a "he's evil" mentality. Her mom's started putting restrictions on how long we can talk, and making it damn near impossible for me to ever see her. So, my question is simple, how can I convince her parents that I'm not a problem?

I needed an opinion on this situation from an outside perspective. I'm a sophomore in college and have been dating a guy for abut 2.5 years now. I love him, we get along really well, my parents love him, his love me etc. However he goes to another school, so I only get to see him during breaks (about 4 months out of the year). The problem is there is another guy I met last year who I had been close friends with since then. I knew he liked me at first, but I thought we got past this. The thing is, I've gotten more comfortable with my close friend than my boyfriend. My boyfriend has never been a really open person and there's sone things I haven't been able to tell him. My close friend however knows everything and still likes me. I also feel like at the moment there's better chemistry between my close friend and me. I don't know if it's just because of the distance from my boyfriend, or the fact that this is new that I sometime feel like I would rather be w/ the other guy. Any advice?

I have been chatting online w/ this girl for about a week. I have met her in the past and now would like to start hanging out w/ her. I asked her about her cell number, but she said she didn't have one yet since she didn't have a job. Could I say the following and she could give me her home telephone number so that we could meet up sometimes....


I’ma on my way to work, but if you’d like, I didn’t mention my #, (00000 cell) call me later if you’d like, I should be able to talk after 6 or you can give me your # and I can call, however you’d like :) and lets see if we can try to schedule to meet up sometime to at least propertly meet sometime this week or something.

I like to take my inflatable doll GF train spotting as she loves steam engines, normally she stays in my haversack with my marmite sarnies, but last night at Crewe she insisted on coming out onto the platform, that's when the trouble started, SHE was the one that instigated sex but I was the one arrested!!!! £200 fine AND I missed the 11.05 from wigan!!! How do I know if a guy likes me? I really think he does..but I'm not sure. Since I broke up with my boyfriend this guy has been flirting with me even more than usual. And our conversations have been different. I've liked him for a really long time..and I really hope that he likes me. Unfortunately lastnight I had a lil too many to drink & drunk dialed this guy that I used to have a casual relationship w/. I've talked about him on here before in the past, so probably some of you know who I'm talking about. But anyway, we actually just talked & emailed each other because we are still friends, although I still have that emotional connection w/him. In the recent email, I asked him how everything was going & if he still wanted to go to Colorado & last time I talked to him he told me that he had taken a break from his gf that he had just met. I had to be fine w/ him having a gf because when he moved back home, we left it as friends..so he emailed me back & told me everything was going good, but he wouldn't be able to go on a trip & wants to try for next year & then he wrote that he got back w/that girl. Anyway, I wrote him back telling him I was happy for him, in an upbeat attitude & said that I was glad we were still friends. Well that was Thursday that I talked to him.
