My ex gf called to tell me she was starting a new relationship?
After being apart for around 3 months (after almost 3 yrs) my ex calls to tell me she is going to be dating somebody exclusively. After a month of being apart we've been talking once every 1-2 weeks. Why did she make it a point to call me in the middle of the day to tell me this? Is she being vindictive, or is she looking for me to fight for her? Is it a rebound relationship?

Follow up - I've been thinking of getting back together with the ex for a month or so but haven't pressed it because I wanted to give her her space. Should I risk her new relationship and the potential relationship I'm working on to fight for her or should I just let it go?

This weekend I broke up with my boyfriend because he was too nice, and i was bored. plus he lived 25 minutes away, and we only saw eachother on the weekends. but we would talk on the phone almost every night.
well this weekend ive been feeling really shity.
i cant tell if i miss him, or if i just miss having a boyfriend?
usually im content being single but right now...idk
i dont even know why i went out with him in the first place.
ajfsh everything is just to confusing.

I have a great gf, we click really well in person and can talk for hours and hours at a time. But over the phone we both completely lose that spark. I can't seem to hold a phone conversation longer than 20 minutes without bouts of silence and humming. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to my sister (whom I'm not very close to).

Is there anyway to spice up my phone conversations with the gf without going into phone sex? It's gotten to the point where I only use the phone to schedule dinner plans and weekend activities. Maybe it's our tone of voices over the phone that just isn't as warm and loving as in person, and we end up talking about mundane and business-like stuff. What's the secret to holding 3 hours phone conversations with the gf? How do I convey that I have a big grin on my face without laughing obnoxiously over the phone?
