This may sound bad coming from a guy, but I have been in a few relationships since I started dating, I have found that the girls I wait longer with end up being the better relationships, like this one we waited three weeks to kiss (I was shy) and then six weeks after that is when we had sex, and this is the best relationship I have had, we are best friends on top of lovers and its great, we knew alot of things about each other before doing that and its great!

I waited 3 months. Now we've been married 7 years. I think it did help our relationship. But I think if i were in my 20's and I wasn't looking for a husband i would wait for about a month. Of course I would use protection. You need to make some sort of decision in your mind about what you want to do with your life. I knew tht I didn't want to even think about marriage until I was in my 30's and I didn't want a "serious" relationship until I was in my mid to late 20's. Of course in High school everybody usually wants a "serious" relationship but how long after high school do those really last?? Oh, and I think 3 months was long enough FOR ME.

i had to wait like 6 dates i didnt feel it was to soon but i wish i didnt do it because i felt nothing for her. so if you feel alot for him / her go for it it can only bring you closer,. the girls that make you wait are normally the ones you have more respect for but if there offering thereself then i feel you have less respect for them because you think how many people has she done this to

No reason to wait if all is going well. If there are any red flags, definitely get to know them better.
