When I first met het, I used to tease her and the like, I made a complete *** of myself. As I spent more time arround her though, I started to realy like her. it took me nearly two years to bring her arround, and we're going out now, we realy like each other, but her parents heard nothing good about me for the longest, and they seem to be stuck in a "he's evil" mentality. Her mom's started putting restrictions on how long we can talk, and making it damn near impossible for me to ever see her. So, my question is simple, how can I convince her parents that I'm not a problem?

The only advice I can really give you is to always show them respect. If you respect them, respect their daughter and respect the silly restrictions they put on you, then they will eventually come around.
Some ways you can show them respect are; not using foul language or slang around them, not insulting their daughter around them, and if you happen to break one of their restrictions, apologize to them. Be friendly with them. Try to converse with them about things they are interested in.

Here is a story, I played footbal in high school and like most high school ball teams, we had cheerleaders and "trainers" the trainers would get us water, dress a sprain or do small rub downs to relax you, well my coach had a daughter who was one of our trainers well her and I started talking and then dating, her dad loved me on the feild but not in class, he always called me a cut up, class clown and he hated the fact I was dating his pride and joy, his only daughter, in a joke one day I said if you didnt want your daughter to date me then you shouldnt have her on the feild, yeah that didnt go over so hot, well then I found out my parents knew hers and was going to dinner, so I thought here is my chance, but total disaster struck, her mom only herad the bad things her dad was telling her so now I had to make things right, they started putting the same restrictions on her and me as your girls did you two, I hated it but obeyed it, she was worth it, and after alot of polite talk, acting better in class, and doing my best for her dad things started to get better then they started inviting me to family dinners and everything, I was glad, because it was starting to break my girls and I apart, that was in 1998 after all the cut downs and restrictions we are still together now, and guess what we all are great, I am now he dads assistant and her mom and I are close as well..... now that I got the story out here is the moral of it all, obey the rules, respect the rules and such, they will realize you really want their daughter and come around! Getting in good with the mom wouldnt be half bad, she has alot of pull with the dad if you know what I mean!

Set her parents down and just tell them...you didn't exactly know how to flirt with their daughter b/c you got nervous when you were around her and apologize. Play it off have your little speech ready and they will more than likely see you as more responsible and will appreciate the fact that you tried to make things right. Plus you do this they'll prolly want you around more often if you kiss their butt a little.

Talk to them,be honest with them,but talk to them alone,without your GF around,be their friend and accept wathever mistakes they heard about you,and convince them that you are serious with her
