Growing up, I always thought that the purpose of dating was to find a mate, someone to spend the rest of my life with.

I found her. We were both young. In many ways, being married has freed us.

Why is there this sense that young 20's is too early to get married? We're only 39 and we've been married for 16 years. We have 2 kids and we love each other desperately.

Sure, we've had problems, but ultimately, we solve them together. Because we can always rely on each other, it makes it easier to do things. We're free.

What's the deal? Why do people fear committment/marriage?

I'd met her through a friend. I came home last week and she
was at my apartment talking to my girlfriend since they apparently know each other. My girlfriend hasn't said anything
yet so I don't know if they talked about me or not.
Should I go ahead and bring up the sex with this woman first
to my girlfriend or take my chances that the cute girl won't tell?

Had a brief relationship with this guy, he's lovely and going through a tough time so we broke up. I have sent him a couple of emails but have heard nothing back and figure he doesn't want to hear from me so I don't want to write again. I've got the message ;-)

BUT we were working on a mutual project that I am nearly finished with but need to ask him some info. Should I send him the mail with the questions or should I just 'make up' his answers?

I do find his ignoring my emails a bit hurtful too so am reluctant for that reason as well but his help on the questions would be brilliant. Help.

I met her in a big restaurant by chance.

I often go there.

she is a part time waitress.

she cant be regarded as a beauty, but she has cute and innocent smile.

two weeks ago I gave her tip, exchanging stupid joke and reply.

since then we briefly used to have casual talk whenever I eat there.

and I began to have crush on her.

today I was in restaurant with my friend.

my friend knows I have a crush on her.

Recently my girlfriend of 2 years split up with me.She said that she dont feel the same way as she did before (i.e love) She sent a letter to me with all her thoughts and feelings but in it nothing seems to be serious enough to split up over.She even goes on to say how wonderful a boyfriend i am and that i have all the qualities she wants in a boyfriend.We had a bit of a break 8 months into the relationship because she told me she loved me but i couldn't tell her due to being heartbroken before.We sorted that out and got back stronger than before.The main thing she keeps saying to me now is that she feels that she doesn't have the energy to try.The silly thing is,is that this has came out of nowhere and that she has been bottling this up for a couple of months now.I feel devastated and would do absolutely anything to get her back.I am totally going out of my mind because i really feel she is the one for me.She's my angel.Can anybody help me....please??

My b/f an I have been togeather for 4 months. about 3 weeks back he was talking Alot to this other girl an i hurd them talking one day an said somthing to the both of them.he got mad when i asked him not to talk to her. an she agreed not to talk to him but i think she still does. an he tells me he dont anymore. but i think he might be lieing an now things are kinda weird i feel like i cant trust him... but i cant tell him i dont trust him I Love him an he told me he Loves me too. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years. For the past 2 years I have had problems with him viewing things on the internet that I have asked him not to. I have asked him not to do it at least 10 times before and he always says he won't. I just found out that he has been doing it for the past 6 months. When I asked him about it he swore on our unborn child's life that he wasn't doing it. I don't feel like I can trust him and he doesn't seem to care if he hurts me or not. He isn't a bad boyfriend in any other way but this really hurts me and he knows it. I have told him that I don't want to be with him anymore. Do you think that is the right decision? I understand him so well, and he says the same thing. He's unlike any other boy I've met but I might like another boy too, but he isn't like the guy I'm talking about. ok so i made a mistake my x and i were broken up and i mean BROKEN UP because he had sex with another girl...and ne way i met this guy at the club and we started dating sortly after and then my x and i got back together i admit i played them both, not long i broke up with the club guy and i began not to trust my x in our new relationship but with it being 6 months later i miss the club guy and just saw him this past weekend at the club..haha...and i asked him to forgive me he said yes and i walked away then i stopped and ran up to him and started kissing him HE KISSED BACK then he came over to my friends with me and i asked him if he would want to try again he said he was ON A DATE and didnt know what he and the other girl were...then said he didnt know what he wanted to do with the other girl...so i really do like him so should i go after him???

My boyfriend (ex?) and I are both almost 22 and have been dating off and on since high school. We have been going pretty strong for the past year or two now and he promised me we would move in together next semester. Things have been GOOD between us and he even wrote me a love note a month ago saying how happy he was with me! Then, all of a sudden within a matter of a week he started pulling away from me and acting strange. Then I caught him on a date with another girl! (His phone accidentally called me and they were at a Clippers game.) He first said he's just apprehensive about moving in together and now says he wants to be single and take a break for awhile. This is a shock and out of nowhere and he doesn't seem to have a solid explanation for why he feels this way all of a sudden. He says he still loves me, but I don't know. What do you think? I was answers questions on here and came upon a question that another user said all men where azzholes !!! So being a man I decided to let her have a piece of my mind and typed to this woman saying I was insulted..I got a message from her saying she didn't mean to offend me and that she loved me !!!!!
