Do you think modern woman asks too much from poor, average guys like us?
Get me a house, care, diamond ring, etc etc.
Not just any house, car or ring, put it on credit if you have to, it shows you love her?
Are you afraid to date modern women because of so many wants they have?

Are modern women asking any more than women throughout the ages though? Surely women have always wanted somewhere to live, an engagement ring, a way of getting from a-z.... I would have thought that modern women would want less from men materially becaus we're more independent... I've always thought that *this* has been the problem that men have with modern women - the fact that they *don't* depend on men for everything they need.

If she's materialistic and you don't have the means to satisfy her, save yourself the trouble. I don't date materialistic women. Sure, actions speak louder than words....but not not possessions.
Don't get involved with a girl who can't see eye-to-eye with you on finances. That's the #1 marriage killer so of course it plays a prominent role in pre-marital relationships.
Even if you had the money, would you really wan't to be pressured to buy her something just to show your love?
I feel your pain though, it will mean many a girl you'll have to pass by. But you gotta look out for you. Some of these modern girls are sharks.
But not to dispair, there are those who were raised smarter than that. You'll just have to look harder to find them.

Perhaps the modern woman just wants more than a poor, average man. We're not poor or average, why should you be? There are plenty of poor, average women, so maybe you'd be happier living with one of them. But if you want to be with an educated, intelligent, upwardly mobile woman, you'll need to match her in every regard.

It can be pretty intimidating but if she is the one or a good gf...than she may be worth it. Just don't spend blindly or she'll expect it all the time.

nope not at all my wifey to be makes more money than me and i am still more than happy to spend as much money one her as i can cause you know what she'll do the same for me.
