You're an adult, do what feels right to you. Never meet anyone from online for the first time in private though. Make it a public meeting place, have your own transportation (and keep it that way).
Once you've met and gotten to know each other a bit, then you can decide how much information to give him, and if you feel comfortable allowing him to know where you live, etc.
I've met many people from online over the past years, and never had any issue...but I always take precautions and never allow them to show up on my doorstep (the first time).

how well do you know him? if it's really well then you should definately meet because he could turn out to be a good person. be careful though and meet him in a public place or with a group of friends, it will be easier that way as well. watch out a bit for his motives seen as his myspace says "FINE *** GIRLS ONLY!!!!!!!" but it could just be a front. see how it goes :]

no meeting anyone on off the net is never a good idea i could easy post a picture of anybody and give them a name the most i recommend is getting a web cam and commincate that why if he cant go and spend 20 to 30 dollars on a cam then he not worth it

doesnt look disturbing to me, hes into cars. Just dont meet him alone if you really want to meet him and in a public place.

Well, just meet in a public place, where alot of pepole are around, dont be fooled by looks, you dont know if he's crazy or not. Just by his looks
