is it because she has a great boyfriend and because she has been with him for 5 months. and is it because he kinda lives in the same city and is it because they'r been friends since they were lilttles..why doesnt she just ditch him and come with me?

I mean if someone understood that you weren't in love with them, but knew that you cared about them a great deal, you get along and are friends with them.

I've known him for 5 years and we're friends. We enjoy each other's conversation, etc. We have been intimate once, but he keeps saying he wants to marry me. However, he knows that I don't love him, but I do care a great deal for him. He says i will grow to love him. He hasn't officially popped the question, but I have a feeling he may.

So, do you believe this would work and a marriage can survive although you're not "madly" in love with someone from the start?

I saw him about 4 times before he did it and it was in person and I don't like him as more than a friend, but he really likes me! I haven't seen him in 4 days as i've been avoiding him. But he lives on the same street as my friend and I go there all the time. I'm scared to break up with him and have to see him all the time and it will be so arkward! My first relationship ended about 1 mth ago and i find it hard to let go. We were together for 1 year plus and we've been through a lot of breaks and patch ups.

Things were fine in the beginning and then things became bad. He's an angry person and would insult me whenever he's mad. He even pushed me before once, left me alone in public twice, said I was stupid and unreasonable when I expected him to turn up at the funeral and be there for me when my aunt passed away. I'm quite close with my aunt and he knows that.

I don't know whether I should move on or still cling on to whatever hope I still have left that the relationship will work out eventually.. We were still in contact when we first broke up but he suddenly stopped all contacts. Why is this so? Should I still wait for him or move on?

My boyfriend has this REALLY annoying habit so calling girls "birds" like he goes, "Hey check out my Bird, shes hot". It really irritates me! I am not a bird and i hate him calling me one. How can i tell him nicely to well stop saying it??

This boy was introduced to me by his friends during the First Friday mass of our school. After the mass, they told me that he has a crush on me. The next week, I saw him and I even tried to hide to him but he still saw me. Then I always see him everyday during our flag ceremony. Some of my friends even caught him staring at me without me knowing that he's doing it.Now I think I'm starting to like him and some of his friends always tease me to him.To those people who are interested here, I just want to let you know that we don't have the same level but I think he's just 1 or 2 years older than me and he's cute

Or perhaps the question should be 'how wrong can it be to like a person?'. I always believed there was nothing wrong to like a person. To like a person, and to want to care for a person, expecting nothing in return, is the fundamental of a friendship, and the basic level of love.

But breaking up with my first love of 5 years (she chose to leave me, citing seeing no future together, due to her imminent decision to move to another country indefinitely to look after her grandmother), and attempting to be 'just friends' has proven to be more difficult than I anticipated. Talking to her, asking her how she is, has proven to be a one-sided small talk affair.

As much as I am ready to move on, I see no point in denying my own feelings for her. I am willing to just be friends and care for her in that way, nothing more. I just want to know she's really doing fine, from her own words, instead of resorting to asking her other friends.

Am I wrong?

So me, a friend and this girl who's friends with my friend went to see a movie yesterday and we kinda started holding hands which ended up at the end of the night as kissing, not like little grandma kisses, more like long kisses kisses. When I dropped her off at home with my friend its waqs just kind of like "cya later". So today I think I cought her off guard but I asked if yesterday ment anything. She said she didnt know and that it caught her really off guard. Then I asked her if she wanted to see a movie with another of my friends. She said sure but not to expect anything to happen again. So I asked her if she liked me as a friend and she said of cource then I asked if there could be more and she said she didnt know. She said not right now and theres no for sure and she didnt want to lead me on too much since its totally contradictory to last night... at first its like shes not sure then it goes to theres nothing there right now. She did say she wanted to go see a movie tomorrow.

Are you sure you are 100% pure blood not mixed with anyother races, lots of American Aficans said they are 100% black but they look difference from the African blacks.
I am an asian myself,I am not really sure am I 100% asian.
I born in Chinese small city, history book said there are a lots of Middle easterns lived in there 400-200 years ago, so I might mixed with little middle easterns blood. And I have a big circle eyes,not the almond shape eyes.
