Well, you've shared intimate times together, so you should expect that to remain part of your pleasant memories. However, I don;t know why you broke up, but I'm sure there was a reason that was overriding the good stuff that has happened between you.

I think with nearly all failed relationships you continue to care about the person you were with for a long time, in some cases forever, sometimes you may be able to become friends, other times not.

But if you really were meant to be together you'd be together....and you aren't so it's often best to accept and move on.

However if you think there is a chance that you both may have still have strong feelings for each other I suggest you talk to them about it......

You should try to give it another shot. Nothing is impossible. If both of you still love each other then perhaps you can get back together again but please do think it carefully.

What was the reason for the break up in the first place?
