Singles & Dating - 12 March 2007

I was dating the guy for about 1-1/2years. Yes I love him with all my heart. He has 3 kids and has the oldest one living with him. I love the children alot they are really good kids. He and his son lived with me for about 60 days to get on there feet. Then one day he moved his son out and we broke up. I wasn't sure if that's what I really wanted him to do because I started to like the mommy role, but it turned out to be the best thing ever. I guess my question is how do you move on from someone that's in love with you and your in love with them but, there are too many reasons why you shouldn't be together. How do you start dating again when you are scared too be hurt again? Please help!! Not to for get he has lied to me for the right reasons (he said)!!!

well this guy i liked well long story short i knew he liked me and i tried 2 give him signs that he nevr picked up. so i kept thinkin yea he'll ask you out &nevr did. So ovr the week i said i was done with him. im done trying & im ovr him. so today i started 2 like him again but not all the way. see part of me gets angry @ him and doesnt even want 2 be near him or talk 2 him becuz im so angry with him & the other half still likes to talk to him and stuff. i dont want 2 like him anymore. but should i give him another chance or give up. I dont wanna say that hell ask me out or he likes me becuz i said that before but nothing happened. we talked to day and part of me liked it and the other half was like no this isnt how it was supposed to go. he doing signs again but im not making any ideas that he likes me. when im away from him like at home i hate him so much but @ school its a little bit of both. why do i fee; this way? whould i give him another chance? thanks!!

I met this girl in one of my classes. We became friends and she would always squeeze my arm(she said she did it because it turn lighter). We both left for summer break and when we came back she was really friendly and always come up to me and hug me. But every of couple of weeks she stops talking to me and when I said something to her she said it was because I did talk to her. and it goes on like this. Does she Like me?

My buddy who was with me said, Dude you gonna ask her out or what she is like all about you?! I didnt notice because I was just havin a relaxin time. But when she came back. I took my friends advice. I asked if she would like to go drinking sometime she responded "Absolutely!" so she then tells me the peoples she works with are going to a bar on sun nite around 8 or 9 ( this was a thur afternoon) I agreed to go and she gave me her number! My ex-girlfriend wants to be best friends with me. I try to go along but its too painful. I can not relax when I'm around her, I'm constantly thinking that we could be together now If I hadn't screwed up. The strange thing is that last year the roles were reversed, she begged me to marry her and I said I wasn't ready, (which is why it ended). Yet even though I 'rejected' her she still enjoyed spending time with me as a friend. Are women better at being 'just friends' with someone they can not have ?

I'm a junior in high school, straight a student, both popular or unpopular chums, pretty by everyone elses standards. Bottom line, boys never approach me first. Except for the wrong ones. Not to be mean, but only the nerdy ones like me. My mum says it my posture, but i stand up straight, its just awkward. i guess I'm pretty, and I'm nice to the boys who aren't quite what i was looking for, because i want to treat them as i would like to be. But how to get the cute boys to like me? i know this is a dumb question, I'm just a little stuck. Oh and I'd like to work what my mother gave me, haha, without showing a personality/behaviour that i don't have/do! Please help an ugly betty find a date or two.

A couple of months ago, I noticed that I had completely vanished from my boyfriend's top 8 on MySpace (I know, I know, MySpace isn't the real world!), so I asked him why. He didn't give me a reason, but apologized and put me back in the "girlfriend" spot right away. I was still uneasy since I noticed the same day I disappeared, he added his ex to his friends list and left her a comment (saying "howdy"). A few days later, over dinner, I asked him again why. He said he just wasn't thinking. Later that night, he finally broke down (in tears and everything - I've never seen a guy so scared, upset, and apologetic) and said he did it because he wanted his ex to talk to him again (apparently she gets upset when he has a girlfriend). Today I told him that I tried to post a comment on a video he posted online, and he said he deleted it because it would be obvious who gave the video a high rating. My fear is that he does't want his ex to see my comment (he invited her to see the video too).

My boyfriend gets depressed when the weather gets bad and we went through a rough time from November to February because of it. ...lots of fights, him just being in a pissy mood, etc. Now that the weather is getting nicer he's all of the sudden really peppy - complimenting me a lot and stuff. It kind of all weirds me out. We've only been together long enough to have gone through one winter so this is the first time I've been through this with him, but he says that anytime he's been dumped it's happened during the winter months.
Am I just being stupid to be weird about the change back to happy/loving guy?

so this guy has said and acted like he Really liked me for just over a month now.. and he told me just a few days ago he Really liked me, and all that stuff. but then the day we are supposed to go on our 2nd date he intentionally blew me off and i had to text him to see if he was okay.. and he just said i don't think things are going to work out i don't know why but i don't like you like that i don't know what happened i like someone else. and then i talked with him about it for like a second and he just said: i just really like this girl. and he had Just told ME that he really liked me! what happened!!? :S

Okay, my boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 weeks now. Tonight, he finally kissed me. (This was my first kiss) We were standing alone, outside by my car. I grabbed his hands, and a few seconds later he let go and slowly put his hands around my neck, leaned in and kissed me. The second his lips touched mine I freaked out! So I stuck my tongue in his mouth a tiny bit. Then I quickly backed away and laughed nervously. He then hugged me and said "whatever" (because he knew I was nervous). It was a long and comfortable hug. He then told me how he had such a great time with me.

Do you think I ruined our relationship?
Is there a way I could make it up to him?

I'm a senior at a very demanding residential high school. I do homework 5-8 hours every evening, because I'm in nine classes. I also applied to nine colleges this year, which increased my stress level even more. I finally have my list narrowed down to my top two...
