Cheating is obviously if you sleep with someone or kiss someone.Would you say flirting is cheating?

I wouldn't say flirting is cheating. Flirting is just nice. It makes you and the other person feel good. We all flirt.. even if you think you don't you are.. even smiling can be considered flirting...
Kissing or more is cheating in my opinion. But i don't mind flirting. My bf flirts all the time, but i don't mind... i trust him and its cute

Many cheaters never touch the other person- it can be purely an emotional affair. But cheating can also be about lying, dishonesty, deception, withholding info about someone else you have your eye on, etc. Cheating is about loyalty, integrity and faithfulness... does flirting undermine any of these? If yes, then for you a flirt could constitute a cheat, if no, then it's innocent flirtation and playing. 50 years ago, that could have constituted cheating- today, it takes more.

Cheating to me is a betrayal between two people that love one another. Family,b/f,g/f,whatever..if you would feel betrayed..it is cheating.This standard may be very different between people which is why this must be established before you have this problem.Know the person you are with and let them know you...often times personality comes into play and leaves people asking if this is who you are or an actual interest.You would be surprised at what people portray as cheating depending on how you represent yourself.ex.preacher's wife throwing her leg around a strange man on the dance floor..or..your married best friend doing the same thing.

Flirting is only cheating is you are wanting the flirting to lead to something else. but if you are just flirting with no intentions behind it then it is normal. we all flirt in a way or another. you just have to make sure nothing else happens

cheating is when you love someone other than who you are with, you dont nessesarily have to DO anything (sleep together, kissing, flirting etc...) i guess i would say flirting is cheating... would you want to be with someone who was constantly flirting with other people? flirting IS letting people know you are interested in them after all...

i believe everything is cheating that you feel awkward about, if hes sayin sexy things, or touching, kissing, or even thinkin of doing something and he says hes just playing etc no no its all cheating cause they wouldnt be thinking or doing if they are loyal to you...i have seen enough with my relationships to truly know it. i kept lookin away and not hearing about it and im the one that kept getting hurt and dumped, so no if their doing anything that you feel is cheating or could be or you have doubt its cheating and give him the boot girlfriend.

My theory is doing something with the opposite sex or the same sex (if you are gay) that you would not do in front of their face. So if you flirt in front of your partner and their ok, then its not cheating. If they have a problem with it then you do it behind their back it is.

No not really. Flirting is fun and healthy as long as you intentions are not to get hooked if you are involved. We all need a good flit every once in a while.

Cheating is anything you do and after you do it, it makes you question whether or not it is cheating!!!! So since you are questioning it it was probably cheating!

A wise person told me, cheating is whatever you wouldn't feel comfortable doing or talking about in front of your bf/gf.
