Okay, my boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 weeks now. Tonight, he finally kissed me. (This was my first kiss) We were standing alone, outside by my car. I grabbed his hands, and a few seconds later he let go and slowly put his hands around my neck, leaned in and kissed me. The second his lips touched mine I freaked out! So I stuck my tongue in his mouth a tiny bit. Then I quickly backed away and laughed nervously. He then hugged me and said "whatever" (because he knew I was nervous). It was a long and comfortable hug. He then told me how he had such a great time with me.
Do you think I ruined our relationship?
Is there a way I could make it up to him?

If he knew you were nervous, then he'll be totally alright with it - trust me. I had the same thing happen, and we just took it slow until I felt better about kissing =) Want to really surprise him? Go up to him, and wrap your arms around his neck. Whisper in his ear something like, "Here's a kiss to make up for the first one" and just -lightly- peck him on the lips - or, if you want to get a bit more into the kiss, go right ahead - you'll be sure to surprise him in any matter!

aaaawwwww! that was such a cute story. i dont mean to minimize your anxiety over this first kiss, but you know, you are soooooo normal. it has happened to everyone. everyone! my best advice is the next time he goes to kiss you, just follow his lead. what i mean by that is do what he does and try to relax while doing like he does so it doesnt seem like you are copying him, ya know? lol.......if you do like he does then you will be kissing him like he is kissing you. and its sure to make him happy. i doubt this ruined your relationship at all. if it did....you know what the answer to that is right? to the curb he goes. you will get other chances to kiss. lots of other chances. and remember.....if and when you think you are ready to go further in a relationship? please do yourself a favor. get on some birth control first. ok? us girls always have to look out for ourselves cuz men just are not responsible. good luck with your next kiss. and remember, relax ok? youre gonna do fine. really!

My first kiss was kind of like that. I backed away and giggled too. It didnt ruin our relationship and I dont think it ruined yours. He probably said whatever because he didnt know what else to say. Just make sure that it wasnt your last kiss with him!

haha, you really don't have anything to worrie about. it sounded cute to me. but you know, if he says it ruined the relationship he isn't worth your time anyway. but it sounds to me that since it has taken 6 weeks for this first kiss, that you guys are both pretty nervous about the whole thing. i really think it is cute and you have nothing to worrie about it. he is probably at home thinking about how awesome you are right now.

no it was your 1st kiss. You will get better with practice n e ways he prolly knows how nervous you were and if he really likes you it shouldnt matter if it was the worst kiss of his life.

you didn't Ruin your relationship. you will get better at it. just go up to him next time you see him and kiss him on the lips! take his breath away and show him you really want to work at making that better.
