My b/f is really busy lately & i hate the fact we can't spend some time together! It really annoys me when we have arguments & end up without talking for days which isn't that good! I feel a distance now even though we both love each other a lot still! We have been going out for 4 years & we wanted to marry! But it just recently i'm getting very mad & just fights with him for everything! I think i should adjust according to his situation even if he doesn't....i should support him in a way that he would appreciate me instead of feeling very annoyed! We talk on the phone but somtimes he'll be lost even on the phone.....just too much stuffs to think in his head so that gets me mad when i think he can't even afford some time to talk to me or give his full attention! How can I support him without getting mad that he's busy for me! & how can i smooth this curve line between us recently! I reall think i should but everytime i take some action thinking to adjust it, next minute we fight more!

so there's this guy in one of my classes.. and i'm a sophomore. he's a junior. i remember seeing him in the halls when i was a freshman and admiring him from afar. Now that we have a class together, i want to turn my admiration into maybe something more. Conveniently, we sit next to each other, but we only talk on average once a week. it's really aggravating because i like him a whole lot, and i'm scared to start conversations. last week we argued about which numbers were "cooler" than other numbers. it was fun.. but then we didnt talk for the rest of the week. today he finally spoke to me again.. just out the blue.. about some movie. and i kinda put my foot out into the aisle today, and when i did that, he put his foot out too. sometimes if we're doing something in class, he'll just ask me randomly.. even though he knows that subject isn't my best. i'm confused. what does he want?

There is this guy that I really like alot. I'm not sure if he likes me to since he sends me mixed messeges. For instance once when he was passing out papers he was just standing in the front of my desk and whenever he goes by he touches it or something. Also I sometimes catch him looking at me..but he never talks to me....whats up woth him? does he like me or not?

I was just wondering if you guys like being chased or if you like the girls to play hard to get. And I am talking about ending up in a serious relationship, not just a fling or one night stand. So for a serious relationship, would you want to be the one who chases or gets chased?

I am a female in the ivy league and even here, the men would rather date those ditzy sorority girls than an astrophysics/math major. Make no mistake, I am not a geek at all (I separate academics from my social life). Or unattractive. But most men just back off after a few dates. My friends told me they 'dumb down' at parties or other social events so they don't scare men off. Should I do that too?

I've been emailing a woman I met online for the past couple of months now and tomorrow night we're going to meet up and go out.....Only thing is she doesn't come off as all that interesting on the phone. She has a nice voice, but never really initiates convo, I try to keep it going, but she'll say one thing and then say "yeah....."
and then it'll die out and I'll think of something to say.

Why is she doing this? Does that mean I should just wait til we meet in person and see how she is. BTW, I went out with another girl last weekend that also seemed interested then was shy until I had to talk to her more to "open up".

my ex girlfriend left me 3 weeks ago, she didnt want to spend anytime with me, and we ended up breaking on a friday, i talked to her sunday, and we made up, and i went to her place, and we had sex, and the next night we did the same thing. then twice we went out to lunch that week. and everything seemed like it was ok. then thursday she sent me a text that we should just be friends. because i said a bunch of stuff to her that i shouldnt have said when we broke up. and people we talking at work. i showed my friend one of the texts that i sent her. and he showed his buddy. and they started talking about her at work. so about a week later i was trying to talk to her. and she told me that there was now someone else. and this just crushes me. i have only been with this girl for four months, but we live together for two months of it. and i truly feel in love with her. i thought this was ment to be, because i meet her the night i came home from iraq, but we didnt really talk then she went out with me and my friend the next weekend and we had been together ever since. tonight i went to get the rest of my stuff from her, and i tried to talk to her. i told her that i loved her. and she didnt care. she was the happiest that i have ever seen her, because her new boy was comming over. i am so messed up over this, i have lost 23 pounds in the last three weeks. i havent eaten maybe a couple days worth of food in the last three weeks. i dont know what to do, i think im a good looking guy, but im only 5'7 and when i was talking to her she said that she was into taller people. part of me wants to just snuff this other guy but that wont do any good. then id spend most of my life in prison. i just dont know how to get over her. i dont have many friends anymore because i have been gone so long. and dont know how to meet girls. i am scared of rejection, and i dont want to be alone anymore. i just want to be with her, and i know it wont happen, and if it did that i shouldnt be with her again. because this is the second time that we broke up and she didnt want to be with me. but last time it lasted like four days, and she heard that i was going out. and she decided that she wanted me back. but this time she has some one else, its just not fair why does she get to be happy while i sit at home alone. i am just sick over this. and cant quit thinking about it. people say that there are more fish in the ocean, but i live in iowa. i dont know how to get over this. i have had people tell me that she isnt all that cute and i can do way better. if so why doesnt she want me anymore. because i really dont want anyone else. i just want to be with her.

The one I love won't talk to me. All she wants to do is leave.
I mention anything about what's bothering me, and the first thing I hear is "I'm not going to stand here and listen to this sh**"!
What am I supposed to do?
I'm not a saint by any means, and I realize I crowd her at times.
But it almost feels like she's tired of me, and my feelings don't matter.
She doesn't seem to want to communicate with me at all.
I hate the way I feel all the time, and it's gotten to where I don't say anything right.
It feels as though her friends, her habbits, and everything comes before me.
Is it time to go?

Do you think not bieng able to fall in love or feel that love feeling that my friends feel is a personality issue, or is it a result of me not finding someone who makes me feel that way for longer than 3 months?

So my "gf" called break on V-day... f'd up yeah. The weirdest part it was so she can go fly and see her ex bf to get "closure". He f'ks with her head and constantly calls and texts her all the time even while we're dating. They didn't officially break up lol whatever he just up and moved a few states away. I've tried talking sence into her by just saying it over the phone but she doesn't see the wisdom in that. So now the difficult part. She just had her father and sister killed in a car accident a couple days ago and had to cancel her flight. We're still on break and I'm getting the whole pushed away effect thing even though I want to try and be there for her. But now... I have a girl that wants to go out saturday and hookup. Me and my "gf" are on break.. but is it morally wrong to still see someone else after what she's been through? Even though we're on break we talk every day we just don't see each other. She's not dating anyone else and its not a sex thing with the ex.

He broke up with me among other reasons because of the distance; I'm in New York; he's in Tokyo. We started dating in Tokyo, then I had to move to NY last Sep and we dated long dist. The break up was not mutual, but it was open ended, in that he did not completely rule out the possibility of getting back together once I moved back to Tokyo. I'm moving back to Tokyo to start work there in April; he doesn't know that yet. He wanted to be friends and as friends, he would email me at the same rate, he said, and I can call him on the phone, we can meet in Tokyo "as friends". But since the break up a few weeks ago he is responding quicker to my emails, initiating conversations, and he writes me: "[my name], hello. [my name], fundamentally there is no problem. [my name], by the way now are you coming to Japan in April?" I am wondering why he wants to know whether I'm coming back to Japan and why is he talking to me more than when we were dating? When I asked him, he said there is no one new.

why are women always complaining about how society is putting pressure on them and telling them they should look a certain way and that it's so wrong while they do the same thing and much worse?yes, i agree that society should except people for what they are, but women are not ones to talk. if anything, women are more judgemental than men. ESPECIALLY at younger age groups. most girls have no trouble finding a guy who thinks they're hot and getting attention, but about 70% of the guys out don't even get a smile from a girl. not only do girls want guys who look the way they want them to(usually they want boys who look not a day over 21 and have cool looking straight hair), but they also want guys who are talented, charismatic, and are popular. and on top of all this, they say they want guys who are themselves. even though it's obvious not all guys can be like that, girls still act like it's perfectly ok to obsess over those things.
