Die.... protecting them give their life say trying to save them or someone else.... defending the country as in the Police or military. To give your life for someone less you can't beat that with money or fame. I think about it. If your brother sister father or friend let alone neighbor.... died saving you or protecting the country even if it doesnt directly have to do with you they gave their life .... You can't pay that back let alone if they do it directly to you. Like if your on a boat that tips over & the rescue helicopters comes the diver jumps in loads you & everyone else in the basket sending it up to copter only its full. So they have to water while the copters takes you in or for a boat but die or if your president & a secret service agent jumps in front of the bullet. Especially if that person was a stranger you cant pay that back.... Its one thing to do it for someone you love like a wife or girl or son or daughter let alone family or friends but someone you dont know yet you gave your life for them.... Almost brings a tear to my eye....

To give up everything. Hopes, dreams, wants, desires. Put it all aside. Do everything for everyone else....until it drives you insane. Sorry, I degress, in all seriousness I do beleive that the most selfless thing that one person can do for another is to love them unconditionally. A bit of mush and probably not the best answer but if you really think about it you'll realize how hard it is to really (and I do mean really) hard it is for us to first of all love someone else and second of all love someone else unconditionally

I would say die... Not to toot my own horn but I did name my ex girlfriend's son from a relationship before me in my will so that should I die anytime soon he's college & there after will be taken care of so that would help her also by allowing her to redirect at least some of the money she would have to set aside for that to other things like paying off debts or paying off her mortgage. All of which is more then I can say for either of her baby daddies or other men who have come & gone in her life. Granted I have to die for it to happen now but in reality at least part of the money will be there for him even if I live since he has a secret trust fund come his in 5 years when he turns 18.... Oh to see the look on her face if I did died or even when he gets the papers from my lawyer informing him of the trust fund.

I've heard that dying for the one I love is selfless, but I'm not really sure if I'm ready to give it a try just yet... Mostly because I'm not seeing anyone, though...

This is going to sound Corny but letting them go to live there life and be happy without you. If that's whats best. Because dieing for them is selfless but at least its over fast. Living without them is on your mind everyday.

donating their time and money and everything that they own to that persons happiness. that might not be the greatest but what good would you be if you were dead from a bullet or from self-sacrifice?
