It is often observed that pple talk about seriousness in relationship, but when they come in practical terms, they are not ready to take each other seriously, y is this?
Why is it, that one doesn't keep his word? y is it that one can say anything that he wants without even caring how the other would b feeling?
It is seen, that people want fun & enjoyment in a relationship, but if u have never been serious, do u come to know, wat "fun" actually means?
So, my question goes, how serious are u in a relationship? and wat do u mean by seriousness?

He broke up with me among other reasons because of the distance; I'm in New York; he's in Tokyo. We started dating in Tokyo, then I had to move to NY last Sep and we dated long dist. The break up was not mutual, but it was open ended, in that he did not completely rule out the possibility of getting back together once I moved back to Tokyo. I'm moving back to Tokyo to start work there in April; he doesn't know that yet. He wanted to be friends and as friends, he would email me at the same rate, he said, and I can call him on the phone, we can meet in Tokyo "as friends". But since the break up a few weeks ago he is responding quicker to my emails, initiating conversations, and he writes me: "[my name], hello. [my name], fundamentally there is no problem. [my name], by the way now are you coming to Japan in April?" I am wondering why he wants to know whether I'm coming back to Japan and why is he talking to me more than when we were dating? When I asked him, he said there is no one new.

I like guys--doesn't matter the ethnicity, as long as we are compatible in personality and such. The thing is I am (half) black (I look Mexican) and all of my guy friends of all ethnicities overlook me. I haven't had a crush on ALL of them, but the few that I have had a crush on were a let down because they ignored my obvious crushes on them. Why? [no lie] My black guy friends all prefer white girlfrends, my white guyfriends all prefer white girlfriends, and my Indian guys friends I can pretty much forget about, and as for the Latino guys that I know--their families don't take kindly to my kind. Its cool because I believe that you can't help who you fall in love with. However, I'm just wondering when a little love will swing my way. Am I doomed to a lonely life because the world sees black skin as a terminal disease that will cause impure children? Or do I have to "settle" for anything that comes my way? I feel like a reject.

She is my colleague. Since a few months ago, she kept mailing me, showing some signal of her kindness, ... At last, she invited me to go to a movie. we had lunch and then watch movie and then just backed home. I expected dinner together since she was telling me to go dinner one day since a long time ago. I was not sure she were shy or she just get uninterested on me. But I though we were quite ok during the whole time. Next day, i found that she looked inconvenience to talk to me and she used to ignore my message without replying. but she told me that she hope to go movie again. so confuse! any suggestion or idea?

What do you think it means when you ask a guy to meet up and he says he is really stressed? FYI he's not the type to mince words and be subtle, so if he meant 'N'' he woudl say so. is it that he thinks I want sex and if we meet up while he's stressed he won't be able to perform? I'm curious to hear different takes on this...

My current of six months has told me a few times her ex has called and she's spoke with him. I know they broke up 6 months before I even met her and I know he lied, cheated and broke her heart.
Our relationship is at the stage where I am considering long term commitment, even marriage and kids but I do not feel comfortable with her communicating with this guy - they have no kids or other ties to have reason to even talk. I know he wants her back and so I am wondering if she has really had closure with this man.
I know she couldn't even tell her family about this man because they would never had approved...she's already introducing me to her family and I feel so much love from her so I am wondering why I feel uncomfortable with her talking with him...I just feel that if I were her I'd have nothing to say unless they was no real closure.

There's this guy I like and he smiled at me really really big, but he has been flirting with my sister who's 3 yrs. older than him. I can't tell if he likes me he played footsie w/me, and passed notes while the teacher was out of the room. So that same teacher thought i was distracting to him and the guy on the other side so she moved me and put my sister where i had been and he did the same things to her that he did to me. My sister says she doesn't like him but she flirts back so, I'm in a dilemma. Does he like me and if so how will he show it???

I am white girl, and i am dating a indian (hindu) guy. To me we are the same, but to my mom there is a huge difference. She thinks that he is not my type, and that everyone will look down on us because we have different color skin. So ive been with my boyfriend for a year now, Hes 25 and im 23..things couldnt be more perfect for the first couple of months. I was certain around month 4 i wanted to be with this guy for a long term relationship.Things were too good to be true til one day i felt him lying through his teeth. I had a pain in my tummy, and knew he was up to something. He was seeing his ex behind my back for 4 months..i stuck it out and wanted it to work. Two months after that he moves in with me, things are great! My mum and i have arguments and he says he cant deal with my MAD family and hated coming home from work hearing it. So a week ago, he left me..1 short phone call saying he was moving out, and me and him were on a break and that i should blame my mum. He told me he needed to sort his head out and he'd let me know at the end of the month where we stand, whether were single or together...im tired of crying, throwing up, not feeling hungry. I cant stop texting him..i need help...im falling apart.
