I'm not your mother so I hope you will listen to me. I don't think there is anything wrong with dating people of different skin color but when they have been raised differently than us it makes life very difficult. I am white and have been married to a man from another country for 16 years. We are going to get divorced as soon as our child graduates highshcool because we have nothing in common. From the foods we eat to the music we listen to.
And yes, I have had people say mean things to my face about being married to someone that is non white and some of his family doesn't consider us married because we don't share the same religious beliefs. I never let that part of it bother me but I have lost alot of myself in this relationship so personally my next one will be someone inside my race and religion. And we must have alot of things in common. Good Luck

You shouldn't be the one to make her see. Your guy should be the one to show your mom just how wonderful he is to you. If I had a daughter who was with someone of a differant color I wouldn't be happy but would learn to except it. Main thing is,I would want my daughter to be happy. Would rather see her be with an indian than someone who's a no good SOB.

Monthers wanted what's best for there children, but don't worry too much, time will come youre mother will realize that after all the differences and negative things she have with your bf the main goal is for you to be happy. You just have to take into consideration that hard work is expected from your bf to gain the trust you're mother is looking.

Your mother will never see eye to eye with you. My mom is the same way. She doesn't like african american men and she doesn't like my boyfriend because he listens to rap and in her word (he acts like one) and he has friends that are black. So the best you can do is ignore her and try and get your boyfriend to do the nicest possible things for her. Thats about the only thing I can think to tell you. Good Luck!!

Remember he does not have american values whatever that means. Where he grew up a married woman has few rights and can be treated like property. Sure he has the charm turned on now but will he when your married.

paint him white
My mom did not care for my colored guy, so i brought home a well known drug dealer, who was always high, and actually lit a joint right in front of her ---- this ended her problem with the colored guy, because she chose the lesser of 2 evils
