My bf broke up with me over 2 months ago. I accused him of lying and it turns out he wasn't. I know - big mistake. We split for one month, then I started to want him back. We've been seeing each other for 6 weeks now; I've seen him every week (6 times), but we don't communicate on the phone that much anymore. It's like wer'e friends I guess, but I've told him I want him back. He said I have to take it slow and he's not keeping me on a string, but I think 6 weeks is a long time for him to decide what he wants. Is this too long? Do people stay split for this long and get back together or am I being too optimistic. I'm hoping that the time we spend together will increase and we'll get back together.

Ok So I've been dating my boyfriend Off and On for about 3 years now. Of these three years we've only been on a handful of dates. He refuses to take me to the movies. He often promises to take me out, but when the time comes he's "too tired" or "doesnt want to drive" or "low on money". Well I'm sure you response to the above information would be "why dont you take the inicitive?"

The last time we went to a movie was may of 2006 (my birthday) to see Xmen3. I drove in my car. I paid for dinner at an expensive chinese resurant. I paid for the movie. I paid for drinks.....After the movie he says "I really wish I hadn't of seen that" and continues to complain the entire (hour long) ride home....

Recently we were discussing wanting to see ghost rider.....he went with his brother.

When I asked why he could go with his brother and not me he said "because he paid and drove" WHAT?!?!

Yet again he has promised to go with me this weekend...I'm not going to get my hopes up.

How soon into a relationship can you actually love someone?
I am seeing a new guy (1 month) and he keeps dropping the "L- Word" on a fairly regular basis. It is mostly in a casual way or uses it in phrases like "I am lovin' you baby" things like that. I am wondering if it is something he is actually feeling or just saying...

I haven't dropped the "L" bomb yet at all not even playfully but that doesn't meant those feelings won't come.

We have not had sex yet or really even gotten close to doing the deed. He told me last night that I am "worth waiting for"...

What do you think?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 16 months, and have been living together for 7 months. My boyfriend is 34 and I am 24. He has a 30yr old and a 33 year old male roommates. Both roommates have been living with him for 5yrs. My boyfriend has no extra baggage. The "Intimacy" is not there anymore, and I see NO signs of an engagement. What is up with him? Should I move out or stay and work on things?

When i talk to the guy i like (he lives to provinces away) when i get all emotional he can never find the words to say, he tells me that, but we both know we can never be because of the distance, he is kinda seeing a girl but she confuses him, shes always talking about other guys and never wants to see him, but id give anything yo see him, we talk on the phone and msn and i have such stong feelings for him, im going out to see him with my friend this summer but i dont know what to do..should i let him go? or could we ever make this work?

So me and my ex broke up about two months ago. He said half of him still loved me but half just wanted to be friends and I was like fine lets break up then. I know where I'm not wanted. But he said we would still be friends. And we were for the next few days but then he told me something that really upset me, that he knew before Christmas break that we weren't going to work. Well two weeks before Christmas break was the first and only time doing things together. And yet he told me even during and after Christmas break that he still loved me. He basically used me. Two weeks after he got what he wanted he knew "us" wasn't meant to be. It was both of our first time we are both in high school. After I told him he used me he got really upset. I told him I was sorry and shouldn't have told him that but that it is what I think happened. Since then he doesnt look at me, or talk to me unless I ask him a direct question. Should I try and talk to him to ask him if thats why he won't be my friend?

My best friend was supposed to call me on thursday to see if i could hang out, but instead she calls this other friend of hers, and the next day they are all talking about going to the movies and stuff. I am 27, he is 22. He is an extremely good looking guy (think Raulph Lauren models!)
When we met 2 months ago, it was instant and mutual attraction.We started dating, had a very intimate time and great sex. We were close to each other,he contacted me almost every day. Suddenly i started getting upset with him for no reason and we had a bit of a fight. I suggested we split up because we need to study and because i can't handle being emotionally involved.. (we are both postgraduate students and its very stressful time for us) . He didn't want to split up, was very upset...i was upset ...we decided not to split up.
But he changed since that quarrel, became cold and distant, and we haven't met for 2 weeks now. We finally resolved the issues ( after my apology and him "taking time alone")but he isn't keen at all on seing me - he told me he is Fully booked this week. The guy is smart, do you think he is playing games or being disrespectful.. He is the one that always calls me?

My guy friend has given me all the "body language" signals that he likes me (staring at me, smiling, sitting close to me, slight touching), but he's never asked me out and he never calls me. I asked him to hang out at a pub--and he did (we had a great time). He'd been gone for a while and has been back on the scene for the past 2 months and I'm wondering if I should give him more time? He did hang out at my place until early one morning with me and my roommates and invited me and a friend to dinner. He's a very friendly and outgoing guy--so I can't imagine that he's shy about asking girls out. I haven't always given him the best flirting signals and so I'm soooo confused. I don't want to ruin the friendship by asking him outright if he likes me but I can't really tell if he does like me. The best I can tell is that he's not that into me. Advice?
