My guy friend has given me all the "body language" signals that he likes me (staring at me, smiling, sitting close to me, slight touching), but he's never asked me out and he never calls me. I asked him to hang out at a pub--and he did (we had a great time). He'd been gone for a while and has been back on the scene for the past 2 months and I'm wondering if I should give him more time? He did hang out at my place until early one morning with me and my roommates and invited me and a friend to dinner. He's a very friendly and outgoing guy--so I can't imagine that he's shy about asking girls out. I haven't always given him the best flirting signals and so I'm soooo confused. I don't want to ruin the friendship by asking him outright if he likes me but I can't really tell if he does like me. The best I can tell is that he's not that into me. Advice?

I asked him to hang out recently--like last month, wouldn't I seem desperate if I asked him out again?

Go with your gut feeling. If you feel you arent sending off strong enough vibes, flirt with him more. Sit behind him and give him a back massage, touch his arm when you are talking with him. Ask him for a piggy back ride. It is the 21st century and it is okay for the women to make the first move.

Sometimes it takes the women to make the first move. That would just be a chance you would have to take. If your willing and ready then give it a try the worst thing that can happen is he would say no. When your in the middle of one of those moments where your having body language from him. Bring it up then, " you know what I've been thinking we should go on a date...are you in?" Just be casual about it, don't pressure him. At least you gave it a try and that would leave you not wondering for the rest of your life or regret not making the move when you had the chance.

If you are ready to move the realtionship to the next level then go for it and invite him out on a date.

If you guys are truely good friends then asking him how he feels will change nothing. Be honest and straight foward with him.

Ask him out, if he says no, then continue to be friends with him and find someone else
