There is no love without respect.
Ways you can show respect are by listening to his opinions, comprmising with him. Sharing your ideas. Doing or trying something you may be unsure of to show he's important to you and you respect him.

Respect is very important. I'd say that love, affection and respect are all about the same in a relationship. If you don't have all three then it will never work. Ways you can show respect? Listen to what he has to say. Give him space when he needs it. Don't flirt or talk about other guys when he's around. Make him feel special, like surprise him with a dinner or something.

I think respect is as important to men as it is to us. Would you rather be treated with respect or disrespect? And treating someone with respect is part of how you demonstrate your love for them. You can't show love for someone if you don't show respect. If you're talking about a woman taking a submissive role to a man, then that's a different story. Some men really dig that, but it's not for me. I want to be the boss. And if the man doesn't like it, he's gone.

Very important but it's not just one sided. Respect has to be mutual and that is the only way that a relationship will ever last. Respect comes in so many ways faithfulness, comminucation, romance etc. Make sure that you do show respect in the relationship but also make sure that the man respects you as well.

Respect goes very far and works with any type of relationship. Respect is as important to a man as sex is. Respect is simple you either have it or you don't. You don't cuss, yell, call names, make fun, you listen, his opinions are impt., he matters to you. His feelings are important to you so your everyday activities are affected by keeping that person in mind on your decisions. Without respect he can not show love or affection to you. Guys don't take that as much as women can. Without it no relationship lasts.

100% respect in ANY relationship is crucial! If a man is not feeling respected, it makes him feel like less of a man. Ways to show respect? Don't flirt with other guys, don't cheat on him, don't flaunt ex-boyfriends around. Just as you would want to be treated, show him the same.

Respect is THE #1 for man, that's how people, women and men perceive them. Some ways you can show them respect is to listen to them, don't like yell at them for no reason, but if you do, don't do it in front of other people, that makes him look like a fool. Also, you can show a man respect but don't let yourself look like a fool, or a puppy dog trying to show him some respect. Remember you have to give respect to get it.

You can't have love and affection without respect. Everyone wants to be respected unless they're a submissive.
A girl could respect me by not insulting me or making fun of me and by wanting to do things to help me and not expecting me to do all the work.
