Is it common to do this? if you will be, or are strongly considering, getting back together with your ex who you dated for two years, would you make him sweat it out a little bit? For how long? I mean in this situation you are holding the cards. At some point though, don't you just run the risk of him giving up and getting turned off if you play such a game? Any shared stories would be appreciated. Thanks. Please, 25 or older...thanks.

My beautiful, sweet, INNOCENT 16 year old daughter has a boyfriend that I find very disrespectful. Not only to me, but to her also. I noticed it the first time I met him. First of all, he calls me by my first name, but of course that isnt so bad, just annoying. The thing that really makes me angry about him is that they have only been going together for a very short period of time and he acts like he owns her. He even tells her how she should feel or what she should do even right after I tell her something else. Next is the touching. He goes way farther than what I feel is acceptable right in front of my face. I cant imagine what he would do if I ever let them be alone together. I have been thinking about talking to him about it and telling him that he needs to keep his hands off of her, and that I wont tolerate his bad language either. Should I talk to him, or should I talk to her about this, and should I tell her she cant see him anymore? Please give me advice.

Is he confused...I am getting mixed signals?
I saw my ex the otherday & he made it a point to tell me he met someone at a party but that he told her he wanst ready for a relationship..then I said so I guess its is really over between us & he said yeah for the most part what do you think & i said no i just think we needed some time or space for awhile & he he said well I can;t promise you that & he said I just cant see forever between me & u...but I could be wrong...is he confused..or am I ? he doesnt call me we talk when i call or sometime he will email me its been a month since he broke it off after 6 years...help

its been three weeks since my husband left me, and I feel so happy without him. But I think im tricking to my self, i feel like im not been honest, cause when Im alone or quiet for a few minutes tears comming out and don't stop.
I' m not thinking much at that time just feel like he did love me a lot and I did.
But he left me and he wasn't a good a husband for me, so then i forget.
am I been true to my self? what its going on?

Ok, i have this friend, and i dont like her as more than that, and one day at school she couldn't get her locker open, so i kicked it open for her (and later got into trouble for it) and she started hugging me. I didn't hug back at all..i just stood there. I dont want this to happen again, but idk that i can tell her that cuz im always hugging my other friends who are girls too...so idk how to tell her i didn't like that. Any advice?

Alright, I go to college and in one of my classes is a I girl I like, but we haven't even talked to each other yet, and I think she likes me back because she secretly stares at me and I catch her in the act and she quickly turns away and pretends she wasn't looking at me. So, when and how can I introduce myself to her because I was thinking I would wait a little before class starts so she would find a seat then sit next to her and ask for a pen because i would pretend to forget mine, then introduce myself. I've never had a boyfriend before (now i am 18). Besides, nobody ever asked me out!! So i dunno if there's anyone who's anyone at all ever has a crush on me.... I'm a college freshman, and there a girl of my interest. She used to look at me a lot in the first few week of the semester. We don't know each other that much, but I always initiate a conversation. I actually gave her a small Valnetine's Day card, saying I would like to get to know her better. When I was giving it to her she seemed surprised at first, but she smiled and accepted it. Anyway, that's not what's important. I thought we were getting closer, but it seems like we aren't. I wrote on her facebook wall today, but she never wrote back. I know she always writes back to her housemates, but not to me. And that makes me sad. She is very friendly to her housemates, but not that friendly to me. I am always the one that starts the talking, and I dunno. Sh*t. I wonder if she's just playing hard to get or if she has no interest in me whatsoever. I am sorta trying to give up, but I find it very hard because I have never felt an attraction to a girl that is this strong. I am in great pain.
