Singles & Dating - 14 February 2007

Okay here's what's going on I find out from a friend that this guy wants to ask me to prom but won't ask me b/c he's afraid I'll so no, so she asks me if I would say yes or not, the thing is I haven't really talked to him this year and we only have one class together but he is a sweet guy so... I told her that I would go with him if we started talking more so it wouldn't be akward on prom night, so then she says great he'll be so excited. The next day he barely looks at me, has he changed his mind, is he going to ask, and what should I do (make other plans?)?

Hey, my bf has been acting kinda distracted here lately and last night I confronted him about it. He said I worry to much. And he admits he has been giving me the cold shoulder but it is okay cuz he still loves me. He says that I need to learn how to deal with it cuz he gets in these moods.
I want to know how to get him over it or even how I can accept that he is that way.

I have been best friends with this guy for almost 15 years... well I just stole his girlfriend away on Valentine's Day. LOL. The thing is this.. she wants me to move in with her and we can kick him out to the street where he belongs.. anyway, for a V-Day present to him, she's going to break up with him in front of me and then I am going to propose to her? get married, but his choice is limited only to 2 young girls, one of whom is low hight, that is below average height, and she is rather simple, at the same time the second girl is high height,at least the level of the top of her head reaches the shoulder of that man, or even they are the same height, as well she is slim beautiful like angel. As for the type of figure low height girl's figure is not ideal, 50x50, at the same time high height girl's figure is like man's magazine cover girl's, I mean very attractive.That man should make his own choice between only these 2 girls. Both girls have the same social and intellectual background. Which one would he choose?

We're in our late 20's.

He's coming home late tonight from working offshore for the past 3 weeks.

I may not get to see him until tomorrow being that we don't live together.



I'm going to make heart-shaped, sandwich, sugar cookies with pink-tinted cream cheese frosting centers.

I'm also going to make pepperoni pizza with heart-shaped pepperoni. I didn't know what to drink and just grabbed a 2 liter bottle of Coke (after I bought it, realized the label goes with my red/pink theme!)

I made him a movie basket with movie theater candy and packs of movie theater butter popcorn and a movie he said once that he wanted.

What would you think if a girl did this for you? I'm not expecting a gift.... or even want one. Well... I was kinda hoping he would go to church with me this weekend.

I've been dating a long-time friend for the past 2 1/2 yr. I've known him at least 25 yrs. I recently discovered that he had an affair with his cousin and was travelling out of state when he was suppose to be working. I also discovered that it had been going on prior to us dating as well and lasted at least a year into our relationship. The relationship with the oth person ended when I confronted him. However, I recently found out that he sent her some flowers for Valentine's Day and he just walked away from the person, no explanation, so i fell as though the door is still open. He has a family reunion that is coming up next year, I am sure she will be there. What should I do leave or stay. I want to trust him but I am finding it hard because he hides things from me. He says he does not want to talk about it or tell me because he does not know what affect it will have on our relationship.

um hey.. id b reli gr8ful if u cud read n reply im really stuck... ok so thers this cute guy that i like, but hes reli shy.Hes in my french class ...I havnt eva followd him or anythin or even looked at him bcuz i thot it mite b 2obvious.L8tly ive noticed that hes been kind of starin at me in french. I can talk with confidence and even if i do mumble, i dont care what people think of me,i can keep a conversation going and i'm a social butterfly. I feel so high with it and it cheers me up. I met my EX about 3 years ago when I was visiting friends in California. I had just graduated college and she was a Sophomore at school in Arizona, and we instantly hit it off. I work for an airline in Texas, so we could fly for free. We made plans for me to visit her a month later, and our relationship blossomed from there. We dated long-distance for a little over 2 years, which was never an issue since she was only a 2-hour flight away so we saw each other every 2-3 weeks. When she graduated, she moved to Dallas so we could finally be together. Our relationship was very strong (never fought, always made each other laugh, travelled the world together) but she never found a "real" job in Dallas and ended up waitressing to make ends meet. She was lonely outside of having me (didn't know any friends yet) and confessed that she was having problems. The next day she decided move back AZ. She cried a lot when she said this. Should I give her time and make another run when she's happy?
