I can talk with confidence and even if i do mumble, i dont care what people think of me,i can keep a conversation going and i'm a social butterfly. I feel so high with it and it cheers me up. My boyfriend doesnt know that i drink vodka before i see him,without it i would be an anxious wreck,i've always been the same way.

You dont need the alcohol to give you courage. It does nothing but make your senses numb. It can lead to poor choices and other bad things.
If it takes you to have a drink before you meet up with him, thenmaybe you should take a step back and look at your relationship in a whole. Your partner should be the only "high" you need to get through and to supplement that feeling with an alcohol drink only masks it. Thre may be some underlying reason that you may or may not be aware of that makes you feel like you always need a drink.
But to be honest, once you have gotten to the point when you realize that your drinking may or may not be a problem- then it is a problem. Get some help before you lose your boyfriend and everything else that is important to you.
Get high on life- yeah i know its a sad cliche, but its the truth. You should want to be more healthy for yourself. Not saying dont drink, but if you need a drink all the time to just do normal everyday things, then its time to address that problem.
BTW you shouldnt care about what others think about you- that is YOUR life- not theirs. Here is the rule of thumb i live by when it comes to other people:
If they dont like my clothes- they can buy me new ones
If they dont like my car- they can buy me a new one (or give me theirs)
If they dont like what i do for a living then they can pay for me to go back to college to switch careers.
If they dont like my hair- they can get it fixed for me
If they dont like anything else about me- unless they are willing to fix it they can all SHUT THE HECK UP!!
Live by those and it wont matter what others think.

Have you thought that perhaps you could be an alcoholic.
Alcoholics drink vodka too, so no one smells it.
I am sure there is a happy confident girl in there, you just need to find her and not use booze as your crutch. Good luck!

P.S. You sound as if you may be developing an alcohol problem. Be confident with who you are when you are not drinking.

Lets see alcohol kills brain cells, destroys your liver, and ruins your stomoch, destroys familys, can cause family breakups, should i go on, ya i would say its pretty amazing stuff.

ummm...i guess its so amazing if you like goin to parties getting drunk or "high" and wakin up with all kind of gizz in every hole in your body, if you like that i guess it is amazing.......
