I've been dating a long-time friend for the past 2 1/2 yr. I've known him at least 25 yrs. I recently discovered that he had an affair with his cousin and was travelling out of state when he was suppose to be working. I also discovered that it had been going on prior to us dating as well and lasted at least a year into our relationship. The relationship with the oth person ended when I confronted him. However, I recently found out that he sent her some flowers for Valentine's Day and he just walked away from the person, no explanation, so i fell as though the door is still open. He has a family reunion that is coming up next year, I am sure she will be there. What should I do leave or stay. I want to trust him but I am finding it hard because he hides things from me. He says he does not want to talk about it or tell me because he does not know what affect it will have on our relationship.

Leave him. If he doesn't want to talk about it b/c he's scared of how it will affect the relationship then he's definitely hiding something. If he really loved u then he wouldn't of cheated. If he was really not cheating n e more then I would think that he would want to get it off his chest and move on w/ his life to try 2 build a better relationship w/ u.

kick him to the curb. cause once a cheater always a cheater. Most men dont change. But others only change when they want too, not when they want. Plus he had sex with his cousin that gross, there ant no telling where he will go to get some now.
