Valentines Day is one of my most favorate times of the year, and I expect to be romanced completlely and am constantly complaing to my man because he wants me to plan something so that I do whatever I want, so I'm happy. But I want him to plan it, thats all part of it, and he hasn't done anything and is leaving it in my hands cause its "my favorate day" and I'm miserable. He ordered me a $2000 diamond necklace, and already told me about it but it woulda been nice if it had been a suprise, as well as a bouquet of my exotic flowers that I like, which as well would have been nice as a suprise. Nothing is ....and I'm upset. Why couldn't he have planned something?? He's says he's scared he wouldn't pick the right restaurant and I'd get mad? Am I too much for wanting a special day with some suprises??

After a very nice period of 4 years,my boyfriend and I had some problems:he began having panic attacks and for almost a year I tried to help him and be as supportive as I could be.We used to talk for almost a hour on the phone and he descrieb me what odd things he felt.It was a very very stressing period for me and at the end we broke up,I couldn`t handle all the pressure and refused any help from him,no vacation togheter,just wanted to be as far from him as possible.In this case,did I overreact?How could he help me if I kept him away from me?But this is just what I felt.So how can we make this relationship still work?How can I change what I feel?

i have this guy i was considering getting settled with,but now i dont think i can cope.he always wants to be around me and complains of my not asking after him,even if we spoke 12 hours ago.i cant cope with not been able to have a life different from a spouse's own.want to be me even if i have someone to share the life with.what would you do,if you are choked like this?even if you;ve talked about it,and would get angry when you dont comply?

I recently was dating a guy for a little over a month. He is recently divorced, has a beautiful daughter &is a few years older than I am. Everything was going great, we were hanging out, I had met his parents & daughter. Then, I was pretty busy with work for 2 weeks & we rarely, if at all saw each other and spoke to each other everyother day & sometimes daily.
Then finally, I had kind felt like he didn't want to date anymore... I called him & he called me back. I was upfront & asked him what he was thinking. He said he thought the relationship went too fast...he was divorce & felt like he was in 'single-mode' still. He said we were seeing each other almost everyday & that he wanted a break. I know it's only been a month, but I am so hurt & can't stop thinking about it. He said he would still like to chat & see how I am doing, but I am confused to what a break means... Will I ever have second chance? I want to ask him that, but how do I?... And why so close to V-day? That hurts....

Well... I'm 15 and I'm with this guy right now. I really really like him, but, since parents are parents, they automatically hate him without ever meeting him or giving us a chance. I don't like going behind their backs to see him, but it's the only way. I haven't seen him for over two weeks and it's really taking its toll on both of us. What should I do? I don't want to give this guy up. Everytime something good finally happens to me, it feels like some invisible force creeps up behind me and pulls everything from under my feet.

This is difficult because my parents know that I was sorta messing around with the last boyfriend I had. Right now they aren't letting me go anywhere with friends or outside of my community service club. They really don't trust me because I have lied about times that I've seen him, but I can't help it. there was this guy that i REALLYY liked, & he liked me. [he told me he did]
&& we would flirt alot & call me almost everyday.
he even told me that he wants me to be his girlfriend, but never actually asked me.

Over the weekend I got a surprise phone call from a guy i knew when i was in the 10th grade and he was in the 9th grade..we liked each other..but he like me more than i did him...since then i have not seen him and thats since 1997...he told me that he could not stop thiking about me and went back to my old apartment to see if i still lived there and he never gave up hope that he would see me again..MY question is if this happen to you..say if your first love or high school sweetheart got in touch with you...would you forget about your current relationship for that person..

ok is it just me or is everyones realationships are all doomed. first my best friend finds out that her valentine is in the hospital because he was in a drunk driveing accident(he wasnt the one drunk) and he needs surgery and might go in a coma. second my friend just got dumped by her bf who dumped her because he wouldnt have sex with her. and my other friends parents are fighting. and the guy i like is ignoring me and he never does. is it me or does this happen every time were near valentines day. why cant none stay together???

I have been "going out" with a bloke for a little while, I asked him, he said that he would go out with me but that he only did "flings" and that he didn't do the girlfriend/boyfriend thing. My bf b-day was the second month after we meet it was last year 2006, and for his b-day I bought him cologne and I give him gift card to his favorite closing store. Next week is his b-day he will be 21 this year, he told me last year that he doesn’t like to go out he doesn’t like to party he said his b-day is like ever other day. So for his b-day this year I bought him a bed because he doesn’t have one and I was going to get him a shirt also. His b-day is the Feb.15. So he calls me today and said that he doesn’t trust me because he thinks I lied on his b-day last year. And I said lie about what? He said that last year on his b-day I told him that I couldn’t have sex with because I had my period that that time and he thinks I lied to him because I don’t have my period this week my period starts march first and I was trying to explain it to him that it is impossible to be the same every year and he just said why don’t u admitted that u are lying to me? I was not lying but he thinks I am. And also he said that for his b-day he is going to a club with his roommate I mean what I should say to him if he can’t trust me know he would never trust me ever.
