I recently was dating a guy for a little over a month. He is recently divorced, has a beautiful daughter &is a few years older than I am. Everything was going great, we were hanging out, I had met his parents & daughter. Then, I was pretty busy with work for 2 weeks & we rarely, if at all saw each other and spoke to each other everyother day & sometimes daily.
Then finally, I had kind felt like he didn't want to date anymore... I called him & he called me back. I was upfront & asked him what he was thinking. He said he thought the relationship went too fast...he was divorce & felt like he was in 'single-mode' still. He said we were seeing each other almost everyday & that he wanted a break. I know it's only been a month, but I am so hurt & can't stop thinking about it. He said he would still like to chat & see how I am doing, but I am confused to what a break means... Will I ever have second chance? I want to ask him that, but how do I?... And why so close to V-day? That hurts....

2 weeks after my divorce was final, I met a terrific woman. The problem was I just got out of a bad relationship and didn't want to jump into anything. She pushed for a relationship and I was made to feel like it was all or nothing, so for my sanity I had to chose nothing. It's a shame because I liked her and we might have gone somewhere if she was more willing to take things slowly.

He probably like you - a lot. And that scares him right now. Try to be a friend to him, but don't wait around too long.

A smash to a guy is a tribulation separation. trouble-free as that. it ought to have many motives. Time to duplicate if the relationship is worth staying in. Time to in trouble-free words relax and not using a consistent annoyance of the placement. Or many different issues. i'd take this time to make sure out what you opt for. in case you recognize you opt for him perchance write a letter explaining the way you sense and how a lot you're taking care of him. do not carry lower back on some thing. tell him the solid and the undesirable. purely be worry-free and that way you'll not in any respect have any what ifs left. wish all of it works out!

My guess is that he (after being married) is probably starting to enjoy the singles scene and possible has something new on his plate or that if he was recently divorced that perhaps he needs the time to sit back on reflect on what he really wants and heals from the divorce. Men won't let you see it but they hurt too.

He probably needs time without sex getting in the way to be alone with the feelings that come along with a divorce. You could get together with him someday, but that day is not here now.

Who knows.
But stop thinking about it.
The only people who think about valentines day are the people who are single.
