Simply put the bloke's scared of commitment if he only does 'flings'. He may seem lovely, but he's probably not worth it in the long run as you'll probably get hurt when it gets too serious for him and he does a runner.

from the advice from my father in law once a man is hurt it takes a long time to heal and the big word trust agian. when a woman isn't what he wants or is used to than he'll go else where to find what he believes he needs at the time. Leaving soemone for the opposite sex might freeze you up a bit too

it's obvious that he is very insecure after being hurt so bad in the past, and doesn't want to chance getting hurt that much again, i reckon that if you stay a close friend to him and be there for him when he needs you i think eventully when he is ready he may feel different, but he needs to know that you are going to stay around for him and not leave when things get tough. good luck x

NO! he doesnt want you why set yourself up for heartbreak?? and dont let him have sex either, or your giving him the best of both worlds he can screw about but always has you as a back up... no relationship! no sex! your not his wife and you didnt leave him, gives him no right to use you!!! find another guy who will respect you enough to want to be yours

They always want the best of both worlds. If he admits that this is what he is like then he wont change, sorry but they just don't, no matter how much you might want them too.

Nothing will ever come of it. At least he's been honest-which is more than you can say for a lot of guys!

its still a mystery to me but don't hang around hoping that he will change because he won't on the positive side he has been honest with you.

he wants sex without the baggage. don't get involved if you're not prepared to hear that he doesn't want a relationship. don't enter into it thinking you can change him, thats a mistake too many women make.
