I am a psychologist and am currently doing some research in the area on relationships. Do you believe that a couple can have an open sexual relationship with other partners, both together or not, and still be deeply in love and committed to one another? Have you ever been or are you still in a sexually open relationship? Does sex between two or more people purely for the purpose of sexual gratification exist? Can you have a sexual relationship with some one and not grow emotionally attached? Some claim open sexual relationships last longer and are less stressful due to the “mistrust” issue 85% of relationships suffer from, while others claim you can’t have a relationship unless its monogamous. I implore you to answer honestly and openly. Share your beliefs, thoughts, ideas, and experiences alike. No “none of your business” answers please, as this is a very serious question. Thank you for your input.

Help..... I just broke it off with a man that i have been with for 12 months. It was great to start with then it all turned sour he became moody and mean...... After several months my ex boyfriend and I started meeting again because he offered to help with something and we started just seeing each other as friends

He treats me at time attentive and at times so indifferent it is always extremely mixed and confussing to spend hours one day to then go and forget I exist

He put his hand inside his pants to scratch the side of the leg but the upper part I turned my head away he did that again another time and again I turned my head; he unbotton his pants and belt from eating too much to then fix it in front of me I told him to turn around or go to the bathroom because I see his skin He got offended but then too made fun of me for saying is not respecting my home or me he said what is there to respect; to him is not bad to show his skin or fix his belt but we had not dated for over almost a year and a half; he never did that before He does not love me or wants to really have me in his life as a person I think why do it ?

I was out last night with work colleagues and a girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:

She wants us to get on - at work and outside
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants us to get to know each other better

When we're alone we find it difficult to talk to each other and it goes silent ASAP.(happened today at work!)

Each time we talk, I find it more uncomfortable/difficult as I don't know what to say!She's asked if I'd go to her birthday bash in a few weeks - I don't know what to say???

Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions on how to deal with this???

p.s. we do flirt with each other and she has a Boyfriend of 2 years.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship

If you are attracted to a girl you meet one night and end up taking her home and she invites you in, and then asks you to sleep in the bed with her but nothing happens except her asking you to put your arm around her and hold her till she sleeps because she is still upset about her recent breakup, would you be more likely to remember her a year later for the fact that you two were so close but yet nothing happened, or would you be more likely to remember her if you both had had sex?

Ok, about 7 months ago, I went out with a boy after he lost his girlfriend. We were happy, he promised me forever. Then a few months later his girlfriend came back, and he left me without much thought. A went with a new boy, who loves me to death, and I do love him too. During this though I was very upset from losing the last guy, my new boyfriends been here every night to help me through it, always supportive always caring and forgiving. I finally got over the last guy. Then he lost his girlfriend again, and he wants to get back with me. And I realised I still love him very much, yet I dont trust him with my heart. The new guy I'm with knows all this, and is supporting me through it, but I'm not sure what to do. I love the one who left me more, but I also love my new boyfriend, and we have trust honesty we rarely fight and when we do we always make up fast. I know I have something with him, but temptation makes me yearn for the boy who hurt me. Who even said he didnt love me.

I am from GREECE and I am completely dissapointed. What does "friendship" means? Why can't a friendship evolve into love? Isn't that too annoying when girls come too close with you and then turn away? Please help me !

I have this girl who is a friend of mine. We both have boyfriend and girlfriends. She asks me “what would it be like if you weren’t with your girlfriend and I wasn’t with my boyfriend?” I was surprised that she asked that. She then told me I was better looking then her boyfriend. iv been goin out with ms g.f for bout 5-6years
in the last few months she been asking me to like tie her to my or her bed. i was alright with this n she used handcuffs and stuff

my bf was over at my house yesterday..and when he left he kept saying BYE, like all exaggerating it..and he was saying "dont u get it?!" so i was like uhh no, i dont. he left & came back later..he asked me if i get it yet, and i was like huh? im confused! so he said, do you have WINTERFRESH? and i was like uhh..u wanted gum? so he just was like all frustrated..the later he got so mad i didnt get it he was just like OH MY GOSHH ur so slow!! and i was like uhh..sorry? and he spelled out S-S-I-K and i was like..what? and my brother was in the room with us at the time and hes only 9 so its pretty inpressive that he got it..so he goes "oooh.." and i thought for a minute and i finally got it!! so i was like OHH..ok i feel dumb. and my bf was just like omg i should have known..then i was like what? and then he said who knows what ur reaction would be..whatever, im too scared. i felt soo bad..he didnt do anything so i went downstairs. then he acted like it never happened. will he try again????

I'm sorry if you think this is too much information, but I really need good answers to this. Anyway...

I really like this girl. She's good looking, and just really nice- easy to talk to etc. Both of us are really shy, and I am ashamed to say, we never talk at school.

I speak to her nearly every night after school on MSN, and she seems really open to me, and not really shy. We joke, and poke fun of each other, etc.

I know she talks to alot of other boys (which I have no problem with) and am not sure if she like-likes me or not.
