ok im 14 and im not fat or really ugly or anything but guys just dont seem to like and i dont know what to do. Everyone always says just be confident and think highly of yourself and be outgoing but that doesnt work because im like that anyways. For the past three Valentines Days, and for the last three years for that matter, I have been completely alone and really wish not to spend this Valentine's Day in this manner.

I was wondering if any of you might have any advise regarding techniques for meeting someone either before this date, or on Valentine's Day itself.

I seem almost pathologically unable to get a girl to see me as anything beyond a plutonic friend despite my best efforts to get them to see me as "something more".

I currently volunteer at several organizations which I support, but also where I hope to meet someone, regularly peruse the bar/club scene, and have even used pheromones in an attempt to meet someone.

While I would love to meet someone with whom to have a complete relationship, I have begun to realize that this is simply too much for someone like me to hope for. Thus, I would be equally appreciative to receive advice for how to attract a girl who was only interested in a "one night stand".

I started talking to this dude who act just like me. I know he likes me or is feelin me but we kind of fell out. You see i punch him in a jokin way and he got upset. We talked about n then he started tellin me that he don't understand the way i act toward him . he says one day I like hey babe and the next I 'm not so love dubbie. I told I want to be with him and everything. then I text him one day and he claims he got a girl. But check this out I call him and he then called back talking about he was on his way to the mall where the girs are boppinbeen a bopper since that's what I call him. At the beginning of the year, this boy found out I like him because I wrote alot of questions of here about him, and whenever I think about it I cringe. I have totally lost interest in him, and I don't know why I'm still thinking about it. His locker is right next to mine, and it has been really hard to just to ignore the past feelings and get over it. Whenever I sit by his friends I feel really weak and embarrased, and when I'm by him I want to run away. It has been a month already, and I really want to move on.

there is this kid from mexico in my school and i just finished my first week todayxD
i have hung out with him twice after school so far(now i tutor him on english once a weekkkk) and i kinda like him...butttttt...the catch is...
*he hardly speaks a word of english(en serio!)
*is from the south of mexico and had to miss a year of school to work!!!:'( ... so he probably isn't to good in the money department
*i don't know his financial or family situation and don't wanna impose like "let's go hang out here blah blah blah"...
*don't know if he is in a gang
but one thing i noticed...i dunno...but he has perfect teeth and wears really nice new, name brand or just really nice clothing...like better than other guys...0_0...and i dunno...

I was so in love with a 43 year old man who came into my life a year ago this month.
Im perplexed because he said he loved me was supportive of me and just left me.

I just came back from a frat party. It was my first college frat party. The party was 4 hour long, and I got to dance with just 2 girls. 4 girls turned me down. I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I consider myself to be an acceptable looking Asian dude. Although I'm "only" 5'11.5, I am pretty buff and have an athletic body. At least that's what a good girl friend of mine told me. However, the fact that four girls turned me down hurts my ego so much. I actually feel that girls, regardless of race, just don't want Asian dudes. I think stereotypes of weak, stiff Asians are the cause Even a girl of my race refused to dance with me. When a flabby, shorter white dude approached her, she seemed very pleased. My best friend, who is white and danced with lot of girls, told me that I should have gotten drunk before dancing. He was like, "girls don't care if you are yellow or green. You were sober, and when you are sober it's hard. You gotta get loose." I wonder who's right. Me or him.

so this is what happened...

i called the guy and told him that i was attracted to him and he told me "i'm not into the whole dating thing, and you have to understand where i'm coming from...it's not that i don't like you..."

for some reason i am having a hard time believing it. This is the first time i have been rejected and it hurts. how do i act when i see him on monday? its going to be a lot different. i still like him, a lot, and its gonna be tough. i need some help.

ok yea but whats happening is the fact that i broke up w/my boyfriend and its been 2months...and i like him and all we still hang out.
