My mom said taht it was ok. My dad doesnt even want me going to the school dance but I wanna and my mom is getting me a new dress. I figured it would be nice to ask my dad permission to go with a guy yo the dance but I should not have done that. He has been telling me since I was 10 that the only guy that could take me out is him but I am almost 14 now and there is a chance I might get asked out. If I do should I go anyways and is it right that my dad acts like this?

OK, my boyfriend is taking me out to dinner this week for my birthday. My mom will be there as well. I also asked two of my girlfriends to come along as well. Do you think my boyfriend should cover the entire bill or should he just pay for me and my mom? I consider myself to be a girl who has pretty high standards. What do you all think?

stated why they aren't interested in going out again? I have met many guys online and at the end of the date they said they enjoyed meeting me. I tell them the same and I send them an email afterwards. If I am not interested in them, I just say I don't think we have enough in common, if I am interested in them I thank them again for the evening and tell them I'm looking forward to hearing from them. Why can't these guys have the manners to answer my email one way or the other rather than be rude and leave me hanging. I find it impossible to fix whatever I am doing wrong on all these first dates when no one has the courtesy to tell what is wrong. It might hurt my feelings but maybe I could do something about it if I knew what was wrong with me.

My boyfriend and I have been going out for a year and a month (broke up once about a month ago for like 2 weeks but then got back together). && he was great while we were in high school, but when we both got to college he started to hang around girls. in high school he did have a close friend that was a girl but mostly hanged out with guys. but now in college he hangs more with girls then with guys. there aren't a lot of them, but he would have one good friend and the rest of them would just get to knoe him. his one good friend wanted to meet me and my boyfriend wanted me to meet her too. but we never had a chance to coz ii was too worried that maybe he was cheating on me.
one thing to note is my boyfriend is very sensitive. he takes things too seriously and over analyzes things.
i'm maybe thinking the reason why he hangs out with girls coz in high school he never really had a true real friend to talk to about his feelings. his guy friend didn't want to hear it.
am i being paranoid??

I have seen profiles that make me suspicious because they are unbelievable, such as one having a pic of an attractive woman who says she's a model making big bucks and wants a man of any age and doesn't care what he looks like. I've seen others that make me suspect some kind of scam, but here's my question:

What kind of scam are some people out to cook when they post bogus profiles on online dating sites????

So, I was hangin' with this really hot, awesome guy last night...we are involved in projects together and were having a blast working on them. He started telling me how attracted he is to me.....and he is married... Of course I was like no, no, no, even though I am devilishly attracted to him too. So, when I went to leave I gave him a hug goodbye and he kissed me and man, it was so hot, like I don't think I've EVER been touched that way before and I was up most of the night thinking what it would be like b/c I was SO aroused. I guess the question is, I wonder why the hell I have so much fun with guys that are taken?? Maybe it's b/c there is no pressure. But why are all the attractive ones either taken or dysfunctional? Can we be happy with just a "normal" guy? Sometimes I think I should be like Samantha from S& TC and skip the emotions and crap, and have sex if my body needs, and not get involved otherwise. Anyone feel the same? Please, no preaching....thanks.

There is this guy @ skool, and we lyk eachother.We're kinda like mary and Izzy from "Jump In" on disnychannel. every1 noz we lyk eachother, but we dont admit it, and we are alwayz arguing. anywayz, he is ALWAYZ sends his homeboyz 2 talk to me. yesterday, i finally got the guts to talk to him, i said "steven, u don't have to get ur homeboys to come and talk 2 me for u, u can just ask me out" he wouldnt look @ me if his life depended on it. he said "i dont like u" i said "then why is every1 telling me u do?" he said "they probably dont no me either" i said "thay said ur full name(im not going 2 display it so that every1 can see). he said "wat ta hel*"so i said "if u lyk me just ask me out" he said " i dont lyk u" and i said "well i lyk u" and then the bell rang and we left. today, we didnt talk @ all, and im really sad. the thing im suspicious about is that whan I was talking 2 him, he listened 2 me, but he didnt look @ me. i dont no wat 2 do. This dum guy I like keeps giving me mixed signals. And I hate it!!!
