i have liked this guy since middle school i'm a sophmore in high school(yes its that sad) he went to a public school i went to a private school and we don't talk too often and i still really like him

Most people get the jitters around people they are attracted to. It has nothing to do with you having spent time at an all-girl school.
If you like him, and want to get to know him better, just tell him.
If you don't tell him how you feel, he will never know, and it's likely nothing is going to happen between you two. The best he can say is "yes",. the worst he's going to say is "no".
If you do nothing, you will regret it, no matter what.

Talk to one of his friends and tell the friend that you like the guy. Maybe the friend can talk for you.
