i'm 25, and i've always been intrigued by a guy that i went to high school with. i haven't actually seen him for nearly 10 years because he graduated and left the school, but we were sort of friends when we were at the same school. i dated a friend of his. i also saw him a couple of years later in a slightly embarassing situation but hopefully he has forgotten about it now.

we both use myspace and are on each other's friends list. should i just bluntly tell him that i've had a crush on him and see what he says? or should i be more subtle about it?

the other option that i have is to go and see his band play a gig in the city he lives in, which is where i'm from (and which isn't that far from me). i've been in touch with a mutual friend who is also in the band with him, and could arrange it that way...

i don't want to miss the chance at dating him because he's really special, and we're both single right now. how should i approach this situation?

I have a boyfriend in California and I live in Hawaii. I only get to see him a week out of the month. I am having surgery next tuesday that will cause for me not to have any sexual intercourse for 2 months. So I REALLY REALLY want to see my b/f this weekend before my surgury. The money is not the issue but he has 2 kids from a previous marriage. He has taken his kids every weekend for 9 years with no hassle except for this past month he hasn't been dependable due to flying out on buisness in Atlanta and my visiting a weekend last month.
How or what should he say or do to have me there this weekend? Any ideas? We are desperate for HELP?!?!?!?! PLEASE!!!!

Or was he truly interested? He showed a lot of interest for several months, there was such a connection that would take hours to tell it all. She was involved with someone and he knew it. They both fell for each other.

My ex bf broke up with me 2 weeks ago. It's weird that he didnt block me on aim since it seems that he wants me totally out of his life. When he broke up with me he was very firm begging me to let him go and stuff. After the break up, the only convo we had was a week ago on aim and he was very cold too. After that I felt akward since both of us are on aim for hours and dont talk to each other. So I let myself disappear by being invisible. Then i noticed that everytime my ex signed in he only stayed for like 5 minutes and then signed off. This is weird b/c when i was visible both of us would be online for hours. I dont know why he does this now. Is it possible that he is looking for me?but he never talks to me when he can see me online. i just wonder why he is doing this sign-on-sign-off trick. Btw, the reason of the break up is he doesnt want a relationship right now, which i believe him. he really has trouble balancing everything in his life.He's a senior in college and i'm his 1st gf

Ok, so i am 18. shes 15. we go to the same school. Its a new school for me so i dont know many people. Shes really nice and we really kick it off. A lot of her friends think im too old and only want to **** around wit her, but every friend that has met me and hungout with me likes me now. the big thing is her family won't give me a chance - her brother is in my grade so i bet you can guess how he feels. After months out of each other lives my ex comes back to show me her baby and talk and crap. And all the while talking to her I got this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach and she started looking at me weird and then I got a weird feeling in my chest. I mean so much has happened and stuff. What does this feeling mean? And why does she always come back into my life when I start to forget about her? everday. We have always been so true to eachother and compromise with eachother all the time, our relationship just keeps growing as we continue maturing. We are still young. Im 18, hes 17. Soon we will going to college and we are not looking at the same colleges because our interests are different but we plan on staying commited to eachother fully in college. I am writing on this website for the first time and im writing because everyone always answers so honestly and maturly. I have heard so many times "it never works" and i am just curious if anyone has ever had it truly work, and believes it can. I'm basically going crazy and am about to just ask her straight out if she likes me although i still haven't worked up the courage and just straight out asking isn't going to do wonders for the relationship. We are 14 years apart we get along great but we have had some problems and we brok it off for a few days then we got back together .now he broke it off and he will not talk or see me at all i have tryed ever thing !! I love this man and he has told me he cares alot about me and he thinks about me alot when we are apart and dose miss me ! he broke it off because i was late !!
I am on the pill but my blood count was low thats all ! we both dont want any more kids and he knows that.
But now he will not see me face to face at all ! I am lost with out my best friend him! he knows i love him !! Dose he need time ! Will he think about me ! Why is he acting so cooled to me ! He told me in a email he thinks its best we part & he cant do this any more but i love him and i want to see him!
Dose any one think he will think about this and cool down ?
I am 32 and he is 46 and i have never loved like this and we both have been marred befor and dvoiced . I sent him a letter and roses .

I mean, men are so annoying, bossy, super messy, smelly.(Here I'm talking about after dating for awhile- they let themself go). Anyway- there's so much to worry about when a woman gets with a man. (eg. him cheating, heart breaking, disareements, late night tears. etc.) I think women are so much better off without men. Don't you think? But what am I to say- I'm in a 3 year relationship. My boyfriend says that he wants to have sex with me, but whenever we're about to do it, he says that we should wait until next time we see each other to have sex. Then, last night he started talking about sex again and he said that he's not sure he wants to have sex with me because he's afraid of hurting me.

He's not the 1st guy to say that to me though. Previous boyfriends have said the same thing, that they won't have sex with me because they are afraid of hurting me. What's with that?

for instance, this guy my math tutor/classmate I know sees me and smiles, the other day, he seen me and he was sort of blushing, and I seen him later on that day, he was actually talking to someone else, but told the person to hold on and told me to call him, so he can give me another session, which I was sort of confused about because the last time we talked I emphasized to him that i couldn't afford to do any sessions, and he told me it's okay, and that there was no rush and that he wasn't talking to me for that reason, he said he just wanted to see me smile, and he went on to ask me personal questions, like where I work, and what did I do for the holidays,and asked me even more detailed questions like who did I spend my holidays with?.., and he's asked me a few times when will I be back up to the club, so what do you think, does this guy like me, or do you think it's about business?
