It's not rude, but it is strange.

If they happen to have fish on the menu among many other items, what would be the problem?

Is she so allergic that she can't be in the same room as someone eating fish? If not, it might suggest that she has odd thought patterns.

The girl obviously has some issues with seafood and she's just being honest with you. There are plenty of other menu selections available out there and asking her about her dislike for seafood could make for some interesting lunch conversation. No, this is not a rude comment from her.

Why did you ask her in the first place? If you are paying for the date . . . then you choose where to go.

Never ask a girl where she wants to go, because that will give her all the control in the date.

You should find out more information about her, like what she likes and dislikes, any allergies . . . some people don't volunteer that information, and we don't know it . . . she could be allergic to shellfish or peanuts or mushrooms.

Just be glad, she didn't tell you the most expensive place in town . . . I learned this from experience . . . that is why I no longer ask where she wants to go. If she is paying for the date, then she can pick the place.

As for her stating "Anywhere that doesn't serve fish." That is not a rude comment, but it does tell you about her preferences. Learn from it . . . she may be allerigic or she just doesn't like fish. Hopefully, you don't have a fish tank in your place . . . lol.

No, she could be allergic to seafood or maybe seafood doesn't agree with her stomach. A rude comment would be: "Anywhere as long as it's not with you." Just an example!!

No, I wouldn't interpret that as rude at all!

Because:

1. She may be allergic to seafood, or just doesn't like the taste of it.
2. You asked her, and she just gave an honest answer.

No it is not rude. Some people really dislike seafood. You should ask if she wants Mexican, Italian, pizza, etc. and then pick the restaurant. Women hate it when we have to make all the decisions. It makes you guys look like big puss*es.

Unless you yourself are a fish or some other sort of sea life, I don't see why it would be rude. You asked her where she wanted to go. Not only did she give you an answer, it was a very flexible one.
